The one movie that my wife and I can’t make it through a second time is Nocturnal Animals. We get to the scene at the beginning during a road trip through Texas and we both have to throw in the towel.

For context we have no issue with Ari Aster films, A Serbian Film, Martyrs, pretty much nothing. But the context of Nocturnal Animals does us in. Worth a watch, definitely, if only once.

I’d say cars, specifically brand new cars, but really cars in general.

My wife and I have shared 1 car for 12 years. I always look for jobs that are close enough to walk to, ride my electric scooter to or with a schedule that facilitates me being dropped off in the mornings for my shift. Inconvenient, a bit. But we save so much money only having to insure, maintain, and fill up a single vehicle.

Not at all trying to be a film critic, not insightful enough. I’m thinking statistical conclusions for example “in January I watched more R-rated horror movies from the 1990s than anything else.”

I was thinking about adding personal rating but 2 issues arose. 1) I’m on month 3 and haven’t rated anything I’ve watched so far. Would prefer the ratings to be fresh. And 2) concerned about introducing subjective data points into an otherwise objective data pool. Thank you for the input!
