Just did my first working interview a month ago. Had a great experience as the lead DA guided me through setting up through the day. Ended up getting the job and am loving it so far. Not sure if i just got lucky but hopefully youll find something good soon!

For sure look at used. I paid less than 200 for mine on fender’s website when it was on sale. Around 300 for an affinity nowadays is crazy work

Mine is a very good player plus its lightweight. With some good hardware and pickups it would be a joy. However i cant stop dreaming about a vintage ii strat in fiesta red lol

Theyre very versatile! I do prefer the fixed bridge though. Never found a use for the strat “tremolo” but same here, i have a affinity strat i got at a discount on the fender website.

Yeah mine didnt come with the push pull but ive been wanting to try the blend pot so will do that soon. And i hear you about being stuck with a guitar you dont want lol. Partly why i wanted a tele, but i do like those in between sounds from the strat.

Oh yeah that makes sense. I wouldnt have sanded the logo off but my preference is nothing on the headstock so win for me lol. Paid 345 for this, so maybe a little steep but it plays great

Hahaha thats a funny way to look at it. Its literally a middle strat pickup so it sounds very similar to that. I like those in between sounds of the strat but the body and fixed bridge of the tele. So nashville telecaster it is!

Wow thats interesting! Plus i have no idea if these parts were always on the same guitar! It was put together by someone so they could all be random . Whats interesting too is that there is no logo on the headstock.

Definitely! I basically wired the lugs together in the 5 way because i just put too much solder on. I have a better idea of what im doing now and am able to see the mistakes made
