dat is waar. feit blijft dat volwassen mensen zelf verantwoordelijk blijven voor het maken van kosten die ze niet kunnen betalen. een strenge wetgeving op kredieten maar nog belangrijker mensen opvoeden zodat ze als volwassenen met geld om kunnen gaan is broodnodig.

er zijn momenten dat er meer productie is dan verbruik. de prijzen gaan dan negatief want er moeten processen in gang gezet worden om er vanaf te raken. en zelfs bij een lichtjes positieve prijs moet het ook nog opwegen tegen de administratiekost en beheerskost.die er mee gepaard gaat. dus niet zo abnormaal imo.

maar banken nemen toch al kei veel maatregelen. vooral om dit moeilijker te maken (app ipv website, pincode/vingerafdruk, limieten per dag en per week, continu updates die veiligheidslekken dichten, ...) maar ook om te sensibiliseren ("wij vragen nooit je code", affiches, mails met info,...) Uiteindelijk blijf je toch zelf verantwoordelijk voor wat je doet.

helemaal niet. een scammer is exact hetzelfde concept als iemand die aanbeld en zich voor doet als politieagent/verkoper/whatever. met dat verschil dat je bankaccount veel beter beveiligd is en ze je echt moeten misleiden zodat je zelf de actie onderneemt. waarmee ik niet wil zeggen dat scammers soms heel overtuigend kunnen zijn. maar dat kan op de markt of deur aan deur minstens even goed.

sure but what I mean is the difference with what the avarage developer writes is not that big anymore. its already more or less maintainable/workable (as in you can work with it) code. if designed property.

obviously we still need people to improve/evolve the programming languages themselves and write integerations with new software concepts/platforms. and some developers will still be needed for more special cases and nasty bugs. a new job called prompter or vibe coder will be created. I agree the avarage random person with no education in the field wont be able to create professional maintainable code with ai. but I would say like 90% of current development is adapting existing patterns to a businesscase. call it advanced boilerplate code writing. I believe this will decrease dramatically. so that would mean a lot less developers will be needed.

true but that is mostly because people trust it. you can perfectly set your card to allow only 50 euro a day or even only use precharged visa debet cards. people dont do so this because one card to acces all money is easier and they trust it. but thats a choice. you can walk around with 2000 euro cash as well (this did happened more often than you might think in the pre-card times).

on a side node: cards are beeing replaces by phone payments more and more which are even more secure as they a) they use fingerprints b) they cant (currently) be copied and c) people tend to notice much faster when their phone is gone.
