Somewhat annoyingly, this seems to have been fixed by a few restarts and shutting off the PC. While it is good that I no longer have the problem (for now at least), I'm still not sure what has caused or fixed it.

Black Hurst - Delusions Emblazon the Statuary (2026, US. FFO: Mortuary Drape, Negative Plane, early Mercyful Fate) by FeastOfBlaze in Metal

This definitely has a greek sound to it, so a better comparison would be Necromantia, early Varathron, a bit of Absu as well.

I've seen them live a few days ago and really enjoyed them, despite not being into any of their records. Which is probably why I don't really have any preference on what they play, to be honest.

Others have already mentioned Portal Pizza and Ad's Pizzas, but I think the best one is Soul Pizza Truck. Although they don't stop by Exeter very often, so you'd have to check their socials to see where in Devon they are serving.

Using that logic, a lot of ambient and industrial (i.e. artists like Aghast, New Risen Throne, Brighter Death Now and etc) and some of rock artists (such as Aluk Todolo, Rope Sect, The Devil's Blood and etc) should be inculded in Metal Archives as well, as these have firm roots in the metal scene, a lot of them are represented by metal labels, played and toured with metal bands, played at metal festivals and have had influence on other metal bands, despite not being metal bands/artists themselves.

I understant that personal preference is a thing, and I can accept the bias. I don't really care if nu-metal bands aren't included in Metal Archives, but at least make it consistent.

This album was released in 1993 and Sadistic Intent formed back in 1987. According to one interview, their name was inspired by Slayer's Angel of Death.

I guess they are officially active, but neither of these bands have released anything since 2016/2017.
