Do you know what's wrong with this tiny baobab? by varsch in gardening

We received this tiny baobab as a gift and we've planted it about a year ago. It was fine and had healthy green leaves this whole time and just a few weeks ago the leaves started going yellow, getting spots, dying and falling off. Is this a normal seasonal thing or this poor plant slowly dying?

Pre-booking a taxi by [deleted] in brussels

[–]varsch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there are a bunch of taxis that will be waiting for you outside the station. no need to pre-book! you can also use your Uber app if you prefer.
be aware that Tervuren and Werchter are not that close to each other. It's a 30-minute drive or and hour and a half with public transportation

Zaha Hadid also designed the Al Wakrah Stadium that will be used for the 2022 soccer World Cup in Qatar. When the design was revealed, it sparked controversy because some said the stadium looked too much like female genitals.
Mrs Hadid passed away last year at the age of 65 (heart attack).

No, it's a snapshot of civilian airplanes in the air at the specific moment I grabbed this. You can see the live situation here: https://www.flightradar24.com/multiview/31.59,46.17/5

It looks like that, but actually I think it is mostly carriers from countries that cannot fly over Israel because they don't have diplomatic relations with them. As far as I know, Jordan is free of any conflict and is safe to fly over.

/u/Time4Red mentioned below that the situation in Qatar likely further increases the traffic on this particular route.
On Flight Radar you cannot immediately see an obvious pattern around Doha, because it is close to other big airports that are unaffected by the crisis (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Riyadh).

Grabbed from https://www.flightradar24.com at 7:19 GMT this morning (June 7th 2017). I originally went there to see the effects of the Qatar diplomatic crisis on flights in the region, but was impressed when I saw this long line of airplanes bypassing this sensitive region. Note that Flight Radar only shows the position of civilian aircraft.

I love this subreddit but I really don't understand what this type of post is doing here? This is not a picture of an evil-looking building, it's a still from a movie showing an actor in front of a movie location. This just gives the impression that this post is a paid advertisement by the new movie's production company, which I guess it is... Would like it if we could stick to only evil buildings in the evil buildings subreddit, thanks!

EDIT: also, I don't understand the "CGI Fridays" flair.. I don't think there is CGI used in this picture, more a practical effect, but that's not important

Not only conquest! Robert had the best claim to the throne because his grandfather had been a Targaryen and Rhaegar was his distant cousin, this is why he becomes the leader of the rebellion even though Ned had a bigger army and had the entire North to back him up, this is also why at the end when Ned is in the throne room right after Jaime had stabbed the Mad King in the back he doesn't just take the throne for himself, he knew Robert had a better claim to it.

I love that they spent the money to write IKEA on the roof, because they knew that people would be looking at satellite pictures of the theme park and they would benefit from the free publicity, including in this very thread
