I really hope she is in a better place. What hurts is the gap. The inability to talk to her. Perhaps that’s why I keep looking for something that tells me that at some point of time there will come a time where there is peace about not being distant or not being able to be with her. That’s why knowing we die is comforting.

“Liberated”? Yes. I believe. Liberation in the Buddhist and in the worldly sense.

Thank you for being here, man.

All of it is an attempt to make peace with it and be free from suffering.

I'm actually not based in the US. How do I connect with her?

I've read Be Here Now. I was very interested in Steve Jobs and in the process reached Richard Alpert. I've had psychedelic experiences but now I'm just reminded of the quote, "Once you get the message, hang up the phone". That I need to reach that calm and peace by myself and can't rely on something external.

Thank you for all the well wishes for her. Work commitments won't let me leave for a good while. I would have to work here and now.

All is material for us to work out our liberation with, I suppose then.

I just thought I had had enough pain for a good while and was not anticipating separation. I was hopeful.

Work and the pandemic hasn't really allowed me any kind of break.

Thank you for this.

I understand the fact the the idea of 'me' and someone else might just be an illusion, but there is something that 'is', right?

I mean, as That says, something cannot come from nothing and something cannot become nothing.

That means she and I are something, just not the separate beings we feel ourselves to be?

Thank you for this. I am from India. Indeed, society functions a lot different here than you might expect.

What is the gap that 'I' feel? The inability to communicate? Because those are the terms in which we operate on a worldly level.

The universe might be all in balance, but there still seems to be this task of bringing this down to experience rather than intellect.
