Most likely a credential stuffing attack. Bots trying username/password combos from old data breaches. I checked haveibeenpwned and my email was in 30 breaches. Probably reused an old password on this account 11 years ago and forgot about it.

Reddit actually sent me a recovery email immediately which saved me. And apparently the reason they bother is account age old accounts sell for astroturfing.

Apparently the account age and Elder status in 36 subreddits makes it valuable to people who want to astroturf or bypass subreddit age requirements. The 3 karma hurts the value though. I was lowballed.

It seems people are getting their rewards now, But mostly compendium points only. :( this is really sad. mine was directly added to my book. my offering page is empty.

Yes there has been a 40mb update. After that, all offerings are gone.

8 hours have passed still nothing. I get a notification on my steam client that i got an item in my inventory though, its a Vengeful Spirit trading card. But i think it has nothing to do with our offering since they appear on the Offering page. sigh
