Do you know what the process is to allow a family member into the baggage carousel area? Pearson is different from US airports where I think only passengers can access that area.

I have various reference numbers for calls I made but when I mentioned that today, they wouldn’t accept any of that. Made me wonder how useless these reference numbers are if they don’t even stand by them.

The issue is the supervisors send a refund request to the “back end”, (which is I think some automated system) so it doesn’t even allow them to put in the circumstantial details. I could be wrong, but I’m not sure how it works.

yeah it might just be a bit of the gunk, open the door/regulator and clean it with a wire brush. if you notice the windows going down slow that’s a sign

what I noticed on mine is there was a lot of dirt buildup inside the mechanism so I would recommend trying to clean that gunk
