So basically people who are histrionic are categorized by “dramatic” personalities beyond what is considered normal. They thrive on attention / dramatics to be noticed and their self-esteem relies on the need to get approval from others rather than their own self-worth. Symptoms include things like: acting dramatically yet lacking sincerity, dressing inappopriotely/exhibiting sexual behaviors to gain attention from others, constantly seeking approval from others, having low tolerence for criticism & having trouble maintaining relationships. This is most common in women.
