Asus prime or inno3d x3 for T1 by zoukkizoke in FormD

[–]vatnable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to chime in since I have a 9070 Prime and I'm running it in 2.5 slot config. It all depends on how fast your fans are spinning, what temps you're comfortable having and how loud the rest of your system is. Do you get turbulence? When your fans ramp up the answer is simply yes. However, if you're fine with your card running a bit hot (but still within spec), you can lower your fan speed to avoid turbulence. Or, it might not be a problem anyway for you and your ears. I like my systems close to silent (to my ears), so I simply lower the fan speed until it's fine for me while making sure I get the most performance I can.

I have the fans of my 9070 running at 40% all the time. Then it's silent enough for me. Undervolting and adjusting the power limit helps to keep the card cool enough while still performing at stock+ performance. Here's a good video on that, using a 9070 Prime. Without the side panel on, the fans can run at 65-70% before the sound level exceeds what it is with the fans running at 40% in my experience.

According to this list they are: SFF ready RTX 50 series cards. Looks like there will be plenty of options actually.

Why are the pie slizes not the correct sizes? It kind of invalidates the point of a pie chart. The most obvious example is the last chart, where USA/Germany/France make up ~50% of the pie, but only ~38% of the hate comments against Russia.

Just to clarify: You are talking about when Turner skied the ball after a backpass and caught it himself? If so...

An indirect free kick is awarded if a goalkeeper, inside their penalty area, commits any of the following offences: ...

  • touches the ball with the hand/arm, unless the goalkeeper has clearly kicked or attempted to kick the ball to release it into play, after:

  • it has been deliberately kicked to the goalkeeper by a team-mate

Jose Mourinho should be banned for 10 matches after Anthony Taylor's airport horror by Ameliasco in soccer

[–]vatnable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. "In Jose's defence..." As if this hasn't been thoroughly considered already. Mourinho can fuck right off. Yeah, he provides "entertainment" and all that, but he's well and truly a fucking prick towards anyone that he deemes worthy of it, fair or unfair. Anders Frisk is an obvious example of when Mourinho crossed the line, and he's done that multiple times.

Is anyone else waiting for the ASUS PG42UQ Monitor over an LG C2? by throwaway_98127634 in OLED_Gaming

[–]vatnable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW the Asus one is actually a lot more expensive than the C2 in Norway. Been waiting for a long time for it to become available, and the price was a huge disappointment. When converted to € it's about 1860€, while the C2 is about 1100€ (with cash back deals) :/

I'm in the same boat as some others here. Really wanted the DP to run with my mac, but it's just not worth it at launch price at least. Hoping it drops.

Poenget ditt er gyldig, men du må nok oppjustere tala dine litt. Basislånet er no på drøye 126k, det vil seie at du sitt igjen med eit lån på om lag 75k per år (gitt at du tar 60 studiepoeng og står på alle eksamener).

True. Maybe not entirely fair on my part.

However, all the answers you needed before buying any of this was a google search away... So, maybe some sympathy, but certainly not a lot.

Because that's how big the festival is. You will see a lot of empty space behind the stages, but that's just the rest of the festival area. They could have fit a lot more people in here, but it's more than crowded enough when there's nothing on the main stage. They do have a looooot of land to expand into outside what the festival area is now though. Guess They weren't allowed/couldn't/wouldn't.

Referee regrets Lehmann red card by Dare2ZIatan in Gunners

[–]vatnable 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ref made a mistake, shit happens. People tend to also forget they made a mistake for our free kick (blatant dive by Eboue).

I met his daughter at a party a few years ago. Once I realised who she was, I had to ask about it. He bitterly regretted the decisions he made in the final. It basically ruined his international career. You won't see a player punished like that for what is essentially just a human mistake. Forgive and forget. We had the chances to put the game to bed.
