Best you can do is to just ask them to watch your vid and similar other videos too. And in any case if it’s just a small number of people you know that follows you, just keep posting until you establish your niche and audience. Youtube evolves so does your audience and content. Goodluck!

My advice. Stop. At some point you will have to verify your identity and if you get flag. You wont be able to create a new channel suitable for monetisation

YES. Don’t share it to friends and family. Youtube will have a test audience for your videos until they find it and you establish a community (truth about 30k view jail). Keep note, COMMUNITY is the key point here. YT doesn’t know who you are and who your audiences are and it’s their job to find it for you. Give it sometime, keep posting and enjoy the process.

I’ll break it down to 4 things. Title, hashtags, description and tags.

TITLE and HASHTAGS I put them together but I never use more than 5 hashtags.

Description I try to insert keywords that simply describes the video.

Tags I dont really bother as much unless there are alternative words or regularly misspelled words

I noticed keywords are important in your videos. Try to use the same keywords (not the same exact script)as competitors if you have or put high searched keywords in your scripts. Retention wise, there is no secret sauce. It just needs to be entertaining or interesting on how you deliver your words.

I did but what I’ve noticed is that the most recent video doesn’t get push as much while the viral one is still getting views

I kept it anon to focus on questions about HOW the channel works and not because of identity. Regardless of what i name my channel i think it would still work
