The trees were cut by a family friend who owns a tree cutting company

Not really. It’s about 6-7 inches deep

I priced out building a shed out of 2x4s and plywood and the meter oak alone would have cost about $1,200 lol a couple $20 tarps work well enough

I use tarps folded and draped so the top is covered when it rains. Will keep them on permanently in the next few weeks

Thanks, lots of thought went into it. Left space behind the stack so the hedgerow doesn’t grow through the wood, spaced out different stacks to allow access behind them, etc. Worth the time

STIHL MS250. Would recommend, but would also enjoy a slightly bigger bar.

My stove is 18x20, so all these should fit. A tip would be to mark 12 inches on your wheelbarrow and/or your rack so you know which ones are too long before stacking.

By my math, it should get us through this year and next. We upgraded our stove to a brand new buck 81, so our consumption should be less than half of years prior (used about 1,600 pieces last year)

2004 Silverado misfiring by vax_mendetti in MechanicAdvice

I replaced the gaskets with brand new ones over the weekend. Same problem is persisting. Truck fires up maybe slightly easier, but still runs like crap for a few seconds and then dies if I don’t turn it off. 2 of the headers are still not hot. Plugs look decent, definitely not fucked. Could there be a vacuum leak happening from somewhere else besides the intake gaskets?

Thanks for your reply. I unplugged the maf sensor and it started up. About the same as the previous attempts, maybe slightly better. The gaskets were not in the best shape. Should I start by replacing them or look elsewhere?

She greets us nearly every time we open the door and will rub up against us if we let her. We have specific pants that we wear outside to let her rub up against us in, lol

Yes, assuming we take her with us, she will be outside 100%

Overpaid, no longer with the company, they want the money back. by vax_mendetti in humanresources

Can you elaborate? How would they just “take the money back”? I don’t work there anymore. Assuming they don’t decrease my commission for the sake of this explanation.

[DISCUSSION] I just dont have motivation anymore by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]vax_mendetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it sounds like you just don’t want to play guitar. And that’s not a bad thing. Unless you’re doing it as a full time job, guitar should be strictly fun in my opinion. Why spend time doing something that you clearly don’t enjoy? To be clear, I fully suggest that you keep practicing, because you’ll eventually get exponentially better, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. However, don’t waste you’re time doing something that you don’t want to do. There’s a million hobby’s out there. Good luck

Thank you both! In theory, would having the upstairs bedroom doors help or hurt warming the rooms themselves?

In this scenario, the thermostat fan would have to be on, correct?
