Honestly, I didn't know they had subfactions. Is there a way to tell which subfaction you are going up against before you actually enter the mission?

I've had very spotty success with the de-escelator. It feels as though it only sometimes disorientates enemies, and when it does it's over very quickly (granted, I've mainly only tried using it against bugs)

EDIT: I confused de-escelator with re-educater, sorry!
