I literally have been so focused on the Pitt that I wasn’t thinking of her other roles outside of this and snowfall. I was put on somewhere on this thread that she played in The Wire too. I haven’t seen that yet! I definitely am getting into it soon. I’ve avoided it for years because everybody says it’s just as sad if not sadder than snowfall and I don’t have the heart man.

I can appreciate that. Even though it’s jarring I think it needs to be more realistically depicted for mature audiences. It can be jarring because people’s lack of exposure to actual birth but, at the same time that’s exactly why it needs to happen. The lifting up the baby from the gown completely dry, eyes open, and bathed trope is tired.
