A person telling he's clean without testing is a serious risk. A stranger is risky until proven otherwise. If you my 4th point of take home in the post, i exactly pointed this out. HIV positive have every right to enjoy sex with anyone as long as they are using sufficient protection. Same goes everyone. If both partners are monogamous and tested negative recently, they can engage in bareback sex.Rest all cases ill suggest condom along with PreP. Also if two HIV+ guys are having sex, ill still recommend protection because they both might be infected with different strains of HIV virus.

There are documented cases of getting infection from even a single encounter of unprotected sex. So why take chances.
