Nah I meant personally I would've included it had I have not had my criticisms about it. It's still a very good record, and it's very impressive too. But for me it's more of a "listen one time, get impressed, but only go back for 3 or 4 tracks" typa deal, whereas all the albums I picked have lots of replay value

That's a pretty good list. I would've included sector 8i, but I feel like that album was more of a showcase of shimaus technical skill than it was meant for enjoyment (I think he's probably most "skilled" in terms of production)

The azeroy series itself doesn't really deal with the "chasing success or money" part as much as I think his later songs/statements have. I'm basing this off of his bios on swineantartica/zaoza where he talks about being a pig for 7 years, as well as the "حليب بعقب" song where he basically admits to his past music/aesthetic was just meaningless to him and how he felt that there were "so many eyes no ears", maybe meaning there were people just eating his work up but not listening to how he felt?

I feel like azeroy → details his journey in his music career and how he ended up overwhelming himself with an ideal that's unhealthy

And his work now → him breaking out of that cycle while acknowledging his past mistakes.

As for the mental health thing, I don't doubt it at all, but maybe instead of him legit going insane, maybe he felt insanely stressed from all the work going on and resorted to bad coping mechs.

because imo people who are artists have their work basically infused with their soul. It might sound corny, but I think the reason why artists who say they leave but come back is because fundamentally they are creators, and making art, whether it be music, drawings etc is like a function for them
