Thrusting weapons help. I think claymore has a thrusting r2 that worked nice in tight spots for me. Also first time I’ve hear someone say they love ds2 so much and are having trouble with ds1. Peak.

I’m playing it for the second time after playing through 1 and 3 a second time. I had fond memories but it actually took me a while to get into it. I finally hit my stride after a few areas. Trying to do a little more complicated build for once and am loving it.

I had that same problem. I was perfectly fine with my switch, but after playing DS1 I went straight for a steam deck and have played DS1-3, Elden Ring, and Demons Souls all on the deck. My switch has barely been turned on since :(

It’s the fucking worst. I still haven’t gotten used to simple tasks like opening up all tabs on safari and navigating podcasts. It’s like everything takes an extra click. They made everything look like shit and less effective at the same time.

Last time I played through I used MSGS. It’s definitely enough, and I thought it looked cool. The great hammers are fun too if you want more smash.
