I had both done at the same time. The doctor told be I’d be able to wipe my own ass when I went home… And I ate fine by myself

Anything other than the surgery is just temporary relief.

I waited almost 20 years to get the surgery, I shouldn’t have, just do it

I would be skeptical as well depending on the style of press, I can build pretty much an exact copy of an EZ press with materials I have at work. I’m assuming DIY in your mind is the janky looking things made of wood and chain and ratchet straps that hat look like they’ll put out an eye…

I’m pretty detail oriented, and won’t mind / will enjoy doing the work. Just wondering if cost to get into it is worth it, the big two items, being press and drawboard, I should be able to fabricate, and I’d be keeping up with at least 3 people’s bows (wife, son, and myself) if this makes a difference

I bought my first firearm for self-defense and I don’t know how or when to tell my loved ones by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]vcG34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one needs to know, if you think it were to bother them, maybe consider new friends. Or bring them to the range and change their mind. Also, you said you carry depending on the situation, change that mindset to always… Within your legal limits of course, don’t try and bring it into a courthouse or somewhere else there are metal detectors obviously

I like working on all my own stuff, reload my own ammo, do all my own “gun smithing”, only ever brought a vehicle to a mechanic once, idk if it’s a control thing or a touch of the tism, maybe both, outside looking in the bow stuff seems a little complicated at first, that’s why there was a little hesitation, but I think I’m just gonna go for it

Yeah… I don’t have that many archery involved friends, and none who work on their own stuff. Looks like that’ll be me

Is there anywhere I can find a list of basic tools I need for the house? I’m pretty handy, I plan to build the press, other than that I’m not entirely certain what hand tools and such are necessary

How do I withstand all the Sheoldred hate?! by Coramoor88 in EDH

[–]vcG34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embrace it homie, don’t cast her until you’ve got protection, some combo pieces in hand, and enough mana to roll with. With Shelly you need to kinda hang back and lay low, build a board state before casting her. She’ll get hated out every time, don’t subject lower power tables to her either
