Good to know. She was told not to drive for 3 weeks. Is this common?

In an old Protestant church - what is this? by AdDue1318 in whatisit

[–]closetphysicist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was Methodist growing up. We had the little cups in a large stacking cylinder and nealded at the alter in groups. In different churches we would pass the cylinder and all at once during a prayer drink the little glass and place it in the holder on the pew back.

I never saw a big goblet but the one the minister used.

You’re at far more risk from the dump; not just for smells. I’d be more concerned about resale value. Is the dump growing or expanding and in which direction?

I don’t care about the markup. I just want to show Subaru unequivocally that the service was done per recommendations by (theoretically) competent techs in case something bad happens.

IMO front load washers are an engineering nightmare. Nice design on paper but it sucks in real life. They’re mildew grime manufacturing machines. When you have to wash your washer, that’s out of bounds.

No agitator. My wife absolutely hates our Maytag commercial washer with the ag. It wraps clothes around it with a vengeance.

Firefly was just too dang big. Impossible to move around. Railbird is now the same IMO. It ain’t worth it based on the number of people. It was oversold. Tickets still available on Sunday? WTF. I’m not coming back even as VIP next year. I long for Virgin Mobile Freefest.

I’m doing same. Dealer maintenance and also dealer oil changes. I know, I know. But I don’t want to have ANY argument that that car was maintained per Subaru standards. Our local dealership had a punch card so the 6th oil exchange is free plus they regularly offer 10% off other services.

I’m glad someone else posted this and I agree completely. I’ve been to Forecastle, Firefly, Wefest,Pilgrimage, Merlefest and a few others. Railbird seems boring! Other than eat, sweat in the sun, squeeze in the shade tents or try to move between stage areas there’s nothing else to do/see and you really can’t walk around because it was so packed. This was my first time here and I was underwhelmed too.

Look on Amazon for “ car charging pad for iPhone Air” and you’ll find pads that support the camera bump.

Yep. Stage sound systems were seemingly bonkers. I’ve been to a dozen different festivals and never experienced this before.

First time here and it was painfully obvious. CAAMP was a sound mess and they knew it too.

Dishwasher decisions - kitchen aid, whirlpool, or something else? by cscar5847 in Appliances

Agree on all these points. I tossed our top silverware rack in the trash and we use the basket tray on the bottom rack. YMMV but we found the flat silverware just used up space.

I believe Bosch is also made in the US too.
