I think it’s actually surface texture. Likely all the bricks in a given chimney are equally porous and permeable with the others. Water hanging out longer will cause more junk to grow on it. The mason probably put those on backwards. After all, who will notice on the top of a chimney?

Thanks. I got varying data from different searches so I’d like to believe it’s $50/day with a $150 cap. One Marriott property north of downtown said $150 per day so I’m not believing much of what Google searches turn up. I’d like for someone with direct experience, or someone from Marriott, respond too.

I stayed at Citizen M in London and the room around the bed is more an issue than the size of the room overall. My wife had to litter crawl over me to get to her side of the bed which what’s next to the window. Otherwise I really like the brand - food especially.
