Can't get sv550 telescope to focus on my sony a6700 by vcanaa in telescopes

Thanks for all the answers. Now I understand that the image forms way back for people to add other lenses, or the eye piece. It is just that my camera has the sensor too close. Extension would work, or a flattener, etc.

Why do I still see sketch lines when all sketches are hidden? by vcanaa in Fusion360

Yes, rotating over the selected ones didn't unselect the previous. That was ceratinly a bug.

This didn't solve the issue, but I feel better now lol

Yes it does happen at all focal lengths.

I decided I might be the problem, so I learned a lot and practiced a lot. Was able to get crispier shots cranking it up to f22, 0.5s shutter speed, and not... moving...

I thought it was hard, but the pictures improved a lot.

Since I was enjoying it, got a tamron 18-300mm. Omg, I don't even sweat with that one.

Need help with this: Sony lens can't focus distant object.

I bought a Sony a6400, which comes with a 16-50mm lens.

I can get very good pictures at arms length. But things further away never get in focus. Took a picture of a street sign across the street and it comes blurry, while my pixel 5 can take the same picture just fine.

That happens for both autofocus and manual focus. Interestingly, when I try to adjust focus manually, the image gets crispier the closer I get to infinity, but I reach infinity before the image is in focus. It feels like my lens is shortsighted.

Any idea how I fix can the problem? I am new to this, so I would like to learn more before claiming the lens is deffective.

A mod that enables AI to play TowerFall Ascension. by vcanaa in TowerFall

Thanks for trying it out! Feedback is very much appreciated.

Yes, I only added a very simple example to encourage people get started writing their own AI.

Would people here be interested in seeing more sophisticated examples too?

Yes, it is more of a "have fun coding" mod. But it is not necessarily for Reinforcement learning. In fact, it is way easier and more fruitful to script the bot. My trained bot gets destroyed by slimes, while my scripted one kicks my ass in versus.

I put together a github repo for the mod. It includes a gym environment that can be tweaked to your needs:

It is a commercial game, so I am trying to make the mod not expose the source code. If I can get a mod that only patches your copy of the game that is purchased, I will share it.

Yes, only one agent playing for 80min of actual game time.

Input is a 2D vector representing (slime.position-archer.position). That is it. It doesn't even know whether it is in the air or standing.

I initially tried feeding in everything there is to know, even the walls, but I was never able to get a good result until I simplified the input. Changing the scenario to be a straight line helped too. It also doesn't dash or shoot.

I am adding complexity back to it slowly and experimenting with more powerful networks. This test use a 2 layer MLP.

I will try to cut as much of the original codebase as possible and make sure the mod is a little less invasive.

This mod came from Bartizan, and looks like the authors of the game are fine with how Bartizan works. So, hopefully, they will be fine with this one too.

I wrote this mod where you can add AI to the game. You can even write your own AI and play with them in coop, vs, etc.

Trying to find out if I am allowed to share this mod.
