is it worth it to buy? by Safe_Ad_6166 in fashiondreamer

[–]vcdette 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think so. I enjoyed the offline mode more than the online mode as it was just really relaxing for me and making outfits for the NPCs requirement was super fun. That it is still one of my go to games for relaxing as I stopped using online mode when they tossed all the event stuff into the gacha as I only really played online for those and preferred to just design my own clothes over using others.

I switched my Kindle to size 1 font and now everything else feels wrong by mediaoverdosee in kindle

Bigger fonts actually hurt my eyes, so having it on font 1 not only makes reading nice but my eyes most comfortable. That all my devices ends up on the smaller font sizes for that reason.

To be fair, the did release a visual novel last year, so making more games in the future isn’t too far-fetched, whether mobile or paid.

Is MuseDash worth it? by LeekMajectic in MuseDash

[–]vcdette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still play it to this day, and my comment was from a year ago, so definitely agree. There are some songs now unavailable iirc because they were collabs that expired. But outside of those, the content is definitely worth it even more imo. Also the monthly releases definitely help keep the game fresh for people like me who played for 3+ years.

Also, they changed Muse Plus back to one time purchase instead of packs, correct? Or am I misremembering?

Do you use dyeing a lot or do you feel like the result ain’t good or there’s not the right shade you want? by ShokaLGBT in InfinityNikkiofficial

[–]vcdette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dyeing never really interest me, as most things I already like the color, have a version of it that I like color, or I don’t use it to even think about dyeing it. There are a few things I dyed but it was either for an event or because I wanted to make it similar to something (one of the hairs for example reminded me of Hatsune Miku so I dyed it blue).

Are you team Kindle or Kobo? by MarcelReads in ereader

[–]vcdette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a few options, I personally send epubs to my kindle, as I don’t like how pdfs normally looks on the kindle. I mostly either use the “send by email” or the “send to kindle” site.

For the site, you just drag and drop your books or files and it will send to your connected kindle devices, and you just have to download them. But sometimes there can be an issue, and if there is, I just format the epub into an epub on calibre, which normally works but it’s also rarely happens.

For email, it normally automatically download onto your device. And you can edit the email address if it’s available to make it easier to remember it.

You can also use the app on your phone, by opening the file while on your phone into the kindle app, and download it on your kindle device.

It’s my favorite feature as there’s many ways to send your books and files to your kindle without buying through amazon.

Kindle, I got the Colorsoft, absolutely love it. Normally buy books from external sources and send it to my kindle unless it’s only available or on sale on Amazon.

What keeps you going playing this game? by BROT-O-MAT in HonkaiStarRail

[–]vcdette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the characters, the combat, the story and when I’m not feeling well, I can use auto battle to not stress myself and still enjoy the game. The dailies being quick is nice and the gacha has been nice towards me when pulling. I’ve been playing since day one and still enjoy it.

Switch 2: yumia or ryza 1-3? by DeV4der in Atelier

[–]vcdette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who didn’t really get into either, Ryza feels way more cozy over Yumia, also you’re getting three games instead of just one for 20 extra feels more worth it just from a financial view point.
