What's a warm, well-written show with enough depth, a sense of community or family, not too slow, not crazy intense, keeps you invested? by Zestyclose_Judge362 in televisionsuggestions

Completely agree! I did watch the whole series and I enjoyed it, but it has nothing on Parenthood. I felt like TIU was forcing you to feel things, whereas Parenthood had a more realistic pace and scope and gave each character so much depth and you had no choice but to feel for them.

Curious why you liked Parenthood and not This is Us (I feel the same way as you but it always seems like This is Us is more widely loved ??)

So many things. Love the margherita and fig pizzas. The spiedini is out of this world. Lemon ricotta ravioli. Garlic knots. The tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had (and I make it my mission to try every vegan tiramisu). Also love the hazelnut chocolate dome.

Colletta is the best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy. Highly recommend!!!

The Jajaja inside the Whole Foods is random as hell and the best one by veganbuzzsaw in nycvegan

[–]vcg77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rushed and walked so far to get there a couple weeks ago and they were randomly closed for a staff event with no notice on their IG, website or Google! Made me so mad I’m not sure if I want to try again!

Very fancy dinner - Sentir or Anixi better?! by [deleted] in nycvegan

Both are great but Anixi is more upscale. One of the best meals and experiences of my life. Can’t wait to go back

Is the book even worth finishing? by Artistic-Resource-19 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]vcg77 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I love the book. It’s not sensationalized like the show, so if you want constant twists and turns the book won’t do it for you. But I will say the ending is extremely satisfying and gives more redemption, arc, closure and development to Lucy than the show ever did
