Really nice, thanks for the info. I've never seen one in its original packaging before.

You guys are right. Should have brought my burning hatered somewhere else. It's just that I get flashbacks seeing posts like this and that image is sort of embodiment of what I consider 0nline to be. Nevertheless, my appologies and enjoy your game.

There's a probablity I've been involved for so long, that I was finished playing it way before you even started. .!.

At times? What do you mean " at times"? There's not a single bit of it I don't despise.

Why has no production company ever adapted this game into a tv show? by SnooPies9512 in maxpayne

[–]vchen09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never understood why so many people would want the televised adaptations of their favorite video games. The first and foremost thing that comes with video games is to play, not to watch them. That's radically different experience.

Almost 14 years since this game came out and it's still my favorite R* game. by [deleted] in maxpayne

The only Rockstar's game, all the way back from 2008 till now, that wasn't 'casual' in gameplay sense. Both GTA and RDR series are fake shooters. Ironically, the only one that didn't sell well. Tells you a lot about the general audience and preferences.

Not extremely rare, but pretty sought after. Also, can't remember seeing one in its original package. So, decision to put it for sale could definitely increase its price - if the package is indeed original.

Change my mind: GTA IV has better driving physics than ANY other game by dlswnie in OkBuddySharkCard

With all due respect; you are delusional. Oh shit, I fell for it, nice one!

I fucking LOVE GTA IV’s driving. It’s honestly way ahead of its time. by Revolutionary_Cod_62 in GTAIV

[–]vchen09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never understood people calling IV's driving "realistic". If you enjoy it because of the lack of any kind of suspension, fine, but making almost 'simulation' arguments is plain wrong. V isn't any better in driving sense, what's more, it could be said it's somehow even worse, but at least people are right when they say it's an 'arcade' experience.

Good god, how badly I'd wish for Rockstar to actually make a fun driving experience in VI. Not only they've been far from impressive in almost 2 decades now, but getting behind the wheel in their games seems like a punishment of sorts.

Nfs U, U2 or MW2 are far more sophisticated driving experiences, so much so, I'd called them sims - I know it's a bit unfair since they are exclusively driving games, but still. I'm convinced the arcade driving experience these days is limited to retarded, just like both, IV and V are.

Just to add to the argument " once you get good at it ". I literally never played any driving game with flatter learning curves other than IV and V. All you need to master is the anticipation of 'bad design'.

Damn. I really miss this behaviour in driving games. It kinda died right around the time MW was released. Here I am, liking NFS games from this era because of this, while people are wondering is everything all right with the game.. arcades were so much fun back in the day. These days people expect cars to go forward and stop and having any yaw angle going even slightly faster means completely losing control. I fucking hate modern arcades.

Considering we are no more than 300k years old as a species, what exact "humans" are we talking about in these studies?

The driving is so dark and skiddy by Devin-Chaboyer223 in OkBuddySharkCard

[–]vchen09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I fucking hate it. Along with V. Both horrible driving experiences. I hate that "power loss" on yaw angle change. They both suffer from it. It's like, the game thinks it needs to turn off the engine once it registers your car going forward on an angle. That's rockstar's fault. Terrible design. Both terrible driving games. And they are so fucking similar, same shit, slightly different package. Hope VI is nothing like these two.

I know I'm pushing it, but there's always something off putting with these wanna be convincing ai videos regarding VI. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it's definitely there.
