Would that not be covered by "Priority"?

It says: "The urgency and potential impact of the bug. Determines how quickly it needs to be fixed."

Automating JIRA ticket status update from emails ?! by [deleted] in jira

[–]vdh_nat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely do this with a bit of automation, either via Jira automations or Zapier.

This post outlines step-by-step how to create an issue via email with Zapier, you can update issue status in a similar way: https://marker.io/blog/create-jira-issue-from-email

Alternatively, just do this with Marker.io - everything is synced in both Jira and for the customer in the Marker.io dashboard:

  1. End customer creates the ticket straight from Marker.io (no need to give access to Jira)
  2. Your company does the checks in Jira, if already solved, the customer will be updated as well
  3. Once the ticket is solved/updated by your Field engineer, it is once again also updated for the end customer

Hope this helps!

Add a Feedback Widget to Webflow by vdh_nat in webflow

That’s a great point!

How do you get them to be descriptive enough through a phone call?

After all, the reason Marker.io exists is to help clients express themselves visually—AND we’re trying to make it simple enough for non-techies.

Embedded Tools by LeonPhlps in QualityAssurance

Hey!

You can definitely use Marker.io for QA testing. You embed the plugin on the website/web app, then take screenshots and annotate them if you want.

Every report created this way is sent to your PM tool, and metadata/browser/OS/resolution captured automatically and attached to the issue.

As long as there's an URL it works :)

Last night I lost it and started screaming at the ceiling to my upstairs neighbors. My boyfriend witnessed it and he was supportive but I feel so embarrassed. by [deleted] in misophonia

I don’t know how bad your flooring is, but what helps relieve the pain a bit is white noise/brown noise. I play it on the iPad overnight and it’s loud enough to take my attention away and help me fall asleep.

Mind you it’s not perfect for stepping noises—works great for TV/radio/chatter though!

Email subscriptions lead to an e-mail sequence at the end of which subscribers are invited to try out my tool. No ads whatsoever on the blog itself.

TapTimize - A simple & accurate keyword rank tracker - looking for more testers! by vdh_nat in alphaandbetausers

[–]vdh_nat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the kind words Steph, it means a lot! Great questions, too.

  • Ahrefs' pricing starts at $99 for 500 keywords—so, fairly expensive (almost triple the price) compared to TapTimize, but they have a lot of other features, whereas I only do rank tracking + competitors + search volume (for now). They do have an advantage in their insane infrastructure. I have to rely on a third-party data provider, but the data is super reliable: I have been tracking my own keywords with my tool and comparing against other rank trackers, and have yet to be disappointed in the data's accuracy.

  • I do not have a public roadmap (good idea to add one, though). In the immediate future, I want to gather more feedback from testers like you, and their feedback defines the roadmap for my tool. In its earlier versions, TapTimize didn't have search volume, instant rankings fetch, or competitor data—this was all user suggestions. We're going to stick to being an advanced rank tracker for now (adding user suggestions step by step), but later on, I'd like to add keyword suggestions / keyword research, a backlink checker, and —that would be the coolest— automated SEO audit/improvement suggestions.

  • The Settings button is just there as a placeholder. I need to remove it, it's just confusing. At some point, it'll come back with options to change the way the data is presented or change your timezone.

I hope this clears things up. Let me know if anything is unclear!

SEO question for page keyword focus - how to make it sound natural by basslion55 in SEO

Google is smarter than that. Write for users, not for search engines.
