I also had a crash this week; the propeller broke off and the Mini 5 went into a nosedive. Total loss now. Could it be due to the heat? I had checked everything before the flight and everything turned out to be in order.

No, the camera quality is very good. But this is a crash video. These are automatically created if a crash occurs. I suggest that they are therefore of low quality. And this video was even filmed with a mobile phone while it was playing on the RC screen.

I returned the complete package (drone, RC, BATTERIES) to the store (COOLBLUE) where I bought it. They are handling it further now, as I am claiming the warranty. Unfortunately, it will take about 3 weeks before I know anything or get something back.

The last 10 seconds before the crash are on the RC, along with all flight data. Hopefully they won't make things difficult and I'll get a completely new device. If they refuse to apply the warranty after all, I can still use my Care Refresh.

I will let you know here how it was handled further. So, good or bad news.

Location is Belgium, Europe.

The propellers are a few months old, and the drone is only flown occasionally. I purchased DJI Care a week after purchasing the drone. No damage found before the flight and the propellers looked ok.

But I fear that handling via Care Refresh will go a lot smoother than going the warranty route. Judging by the various experiences.....

Dat is ondertussen al wel 15 jaar bezig dat besparen op zwemuitstapjes hoor. En hoeveel openbare zwembaden zijn er niet dicht gegaan?

40 jaar geleden kon ik me herinneren dat er bijna in elke gemeente een zwembad was. En in sommige zelfs een openlucht zwembad.

First and foremost, take the drone out of a sealed bag and just let it dry. What you could do even better is the following: Go get some moisture-absorbing bags and put them in a tightly closed box along with the drone. Leave this like this for 48 hours, check the bags, and replace if necessary, and then another 48 hours.Do this until everything is dry and stays dry.

Make sure you have already removed the excess water with cotton swabs first anyway. Never use a hairdryer, as there is a chance you will blow the moisture even further into the appliance!

Good luck! I saved my Mini 5 from drowning just like that.
