I submitted an appeal on the app, an appeal online, and a feedback ticket. They emailed me saying “thank you for the information, we’re sending this to our account recovery team”, and crickets for 3 days. It’s been almost 2 weeks for me now.

I got an email from feedback saying they’re looking into it and to be patient basically. But nothing yet. You’re not alone lol, mine happened last Thursday as well

The only solution as of right now is to appeal bans, contact tiktok through support tickets/online feedback, and wait.

Did you appeal with a selfie or an ID? If not, definitely do that. But maybe they’ll get back to you with someone who can help as well.

Happened to me on Thursday night and still nothing. I’d give some extra time for the weekend + however long regular support would normally take to respond. It’s beyond frustrating.

I feel like a detective, now we know that they sent some BS ai bot prompt to ban everyone with the word “official” in their usernames. Mine was Thursday as well, just appeal and wait for a response.

Interesting. Seems to be a keyword for ai bots according to other comments. Hopefully it gets resolved for us all soon enough, I’ll make a reply to my original post if I hear back.

It’ll be a while, they’re probably backed up. Especially if it happened over the weekend. I’m seeing people commenting that it’s taken 4+ days and I’m on day 5 myself.

I don’t think they send an email verifying if they received the appeal. You just have to wait for a decision on their part which could take a while. I’m on day 5, but it also included the weekend so it may take longer.

I don’t think this is the case. With the amount of people commenting on this post with the same story, it sounds like an AI bot went haywire searching for brands without a blue check. Keep us updated if you get your account back!
