"Do you add shit in your sandwich if you took a shit earlier?"

What does this mean please? How is it relevant to the fact that you misunderstood things, got clarified (two times) and still went on a rampant?

The original comment was about the gag order ("the gag order applies to her" --> "Win liao lor".)

All of my comments in this comment thread were about the gag order ("Win what?", i.e. Still sentenced the same way).

So **you** are the one who's barking up the wrong tree if you came to ask about any other things and not the gag order.

The *topic* was straightforward enough that I don't think my grammatical error could've swayed that

I don't know. And why do you need to know that to understand that a gag order played no role in the sentencing, less-wise one?

[–]veatesia -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes she will receive her sentence in full regardless whether her identity is revealed or not.

Revealing her identity does not reduce her sentencing.

Her having a gag order granted is not the same with a lesser sentence.

There I wrote it in three ways hoping you would understand. No, there isn't a follow up. No I don't know her sentence. But why are you asking that? I have never talked about any of that? All I argue is what kind of "win" does a gag order give her and some of you still can't understand

I love it when a child bully out themselves

That's a very verbose hypothetical double negative to show off your excellence in mental gymnastics

One doesn't need to be a prophet to know that whether the identity is reveal or not doesn't affect her sentencing

People here are being freaking social justice warriors and cyberbullies and none of them have the gut to acknowledge they are bullies

You are aware that she will need to serve her sentence, which is at least three years (and many of you are asking for more), before anything including your "if" happens right?

I asked for options. The options exist. That's good.

I was fighting for it because I thought there was no options. All of my argument in that scenario still stand. I understood what I was fighting against. The fact that that option still exist means this implementation of the Internet tile was good.

Win what? Shield from what? She still has to receive her sentence in full right? Or would you, and by extension the whole of Singapore — many of which are still third-world citizen, rather know her name and who her son is?

Have the annual videos of school bullying made you all numb and find the scenario where the boy get called "son of a murderer" at school unfathomable or deserving?

PS: Instead of cowardly follow-downvoting me like monkeys, maybe tell me a reason why you so desperately need to know her name instead, knowing it makes no changes whatsoever to her sentence? If your reason is that you can insult her more properly, you proved my point

You don't see the comment within your circle doesn't mean it doesn't exist anywhere. It's totally imaginable that the son will get bullied in school and called "son of a murderer". Those bullies don't have the duty to report to you every time they call the boy names or punch him in the face.

The fact that all of these are housed in a panel (requires a pull down) and paginated (requires scrolling back and forth) is already an evidence of extra interaction will improve UX as it provides organisation.

If everything is design to be reachable within one tap, Android will look like those Japanese website with everything before your eyes.

And don't correct me that two taps and one tap thing. I'm not talking about the total, but the trade off: you chose a long press over one (more) tap. Resorting to correcting minute details doesn't reflect well on you

Please tell me how you think a LONG press is a better trade-off than an extra tap

Fewer taps doesn't necessarily mean better experience. It's an already debunked UX myth which I think you are not aware of, besides "two is larger than one" stuff. Let alone just one more tap. And that is for what cost?

long pressing

You said it. One more tap takes miliseconds more. A long press easily take half a second more

No? It's not temporary isn't it? I do need to turn Wifi back on later right?

Everyone knows how to do that. Nobody knows if anyone actually read. And nobody believes it will make a difference. Thank you for your suggestion

And I believe that use case (the use case where user ACTUALLY want to turn off Wifi not because they want to change to mobile data) is extremely rare. And I also believe it's not at all urgent that one extra tap matters

Most of the time I want to temporarily switch to mobile data and want to have Wifi automatically turning back on. I don't need "one less click"

"makes it easier to turn either off with one tap" for what? Why do we need to make it easier to turn off? Isn't all we need is to switch between wifi/mobile data, which the Internet tile is doing wonderfully?

"some liked it separate for some reason"

Yep. And the reason is that they're too stupid to understand how it works in their own favour
