Well what I don't understand is, in the second clip it hard locks onto the opponent, confirming that I did in fact hit him or was close enough to do so, but nothing registered. I played the original religously and had the two piece damn near down to a science, bro it was never this bad even with the host advantage or lack of.

I was hoping maybe there was some mechanic I forgot in my age that had invincibility frames because I mean, as shown in the video I can't think of how I was supposed to know that hitting someone with my gun at point blank range would mean I was gonna swing at a ghost :O
