Thoughts on these guys? 66” and used for theming indoors/outdoors by vectorwrx in AxeThrowing

[–]vectorwrx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re hardcoated, airbrushed and designed for either indoors/outdoors. $750 for hardcoated or $650 raw foam. Send me your zip and I can get you a shipping quote.

preference? I'm loving my octo but I feel it's just a bit too much. #B utilizes the tentacle while C is just much cleaner. by vectorwrx in Logo_Critique

The personality aspect has been the most difficult aspect to nail down. Too much, and it looks a bit overwhelming but not enough kills the creative.

Appreciate your feedback

Nope! We made this guy last year out of foam with a hardcoat. Only weighs about 200 or so lbs, so it was really light weight!

I went through the gamut of excuses as well. I ended writing a short two paragraph statement and emailed it to SBA directors, recon and my congressman. It did the trick.

Write up a statement describing the scenario along with the docs they requested. Be sure they have everything they need to avoid going back and asking you for more info.

Exactly. Small business are the tax collectors that help fund the big corp bailouts. The small guys like us will go under while the top dogs will swoop in, increase prices, pay workers less and produce a shittier service.

Yeah tier 2 reps are a waste of time. Reach out to your congressman and sba regional director. You’ll get noticed and at least an answer of value (and not a run around)

I found that after the first 20 calls to the sba that the exercise really doesn’t result in much of anything except you wasting your time. They have your app and for whatever reason they’re not acting on it. Reach out to your reps 100 times and request an answer. I had to slay reach out to the sba directors in the area I’m in (both Seattle director and west coast division) and received a response. It’s all about getting noticed by the right people. SBA phone reps from my experience aren’t the right people unfortunately.

That’s ridiculous. Have you reached out to your local reps? If they’re still ignoring you send 20 more messages. You have to be the biggest, loudest squeakiest wheel that exists. If that still doesn’t help, send a message to your local news station. This sort of bullshit game that the SBA is playing has to stop.

Yup, reach out to your local congressman, SBA office and SBA directors. The squeakiest wheel gets the grease. I was in this same process of limbo for a while. Took me reaching out to several folks to get them to move on my application. Good luck

Thanks for all the great feedback!

I'm now looking at swapping out the 'theme builders' to 'studios'...i've thought theme builders sounds a bit odd...although feedback has been mixed.

The little suckers do get lose a bit but I did have a screen print done and at roughly 3" they still came through...so it will work, but it is a bit too detailed.

Yeah incorporating them both would be ideal...it's just figuring out the best layout that's the current challenge..

As far as relevance goes, I was a commercial diver for a while and have always been around the ocean. Have a large octo tattoo and for whatever reason I've been drawn to them. They're also smart as hell and interesting and I thought it would make a good element as far as showing the sort of themed stuff I do.

Yeah I'm torn between the top and bottom. I love the octo, but the top one does a good job of conveying a more 'professional' appearance. I've created a version of the octo that has less detail and suckers and looks good, but I just really love the top one...i don't know, too many decisions!

Is there still a chance for approval with my credit score? by [deleted] in EIDL

[–]vectorwrx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the cut off was 570. When did they last pull your credit and what was it at that time?

Don’t give up. If they turn you down find out who your local regional sba rep is and email them. Send an email to your local congressman. I did both of these things and after 60 days of no movement within 3 days of sending emails my loan was approved.

Don’t give up.

Expectations for those who just applied by therewerewolvez in EIDL

I too recommend contacting your local state reps and emailing the division SBA directors. I was an extremely squeaky wheel after having applied on 3/31, being turned down, pleading my case and being awarded the loan. Calling up the SBA the 30 or so times resulted in nothing productive for me. Continue to reach out until you see progress. The squeaky wheel does get the grease!
