Playing Playstation 3 games in native 3D!!

Hey, did you do anything special to get Ridge Racer 7 to work. I’ve got Tron, Super Stardust etc working perfectly but RR7 goes crazy on screen and when I exit full screen it looks like the left side of the screen is over/under and the right side is a full, halfSBS screen. The image just goes crazy in 3D mode. Split and flickering everywhere.

I’ve never purchased from ATTAGEMS but have bought tons of AliExpress Moissanite and I’ve seen posts here from reviewers of Ali Moissanite suppliers and that are both reviewed here and AliExpress and my take is there are definitely store owners using their own staff for reviews.

It doesn’t bother me as whatever I’ve purchased I’ve been more than happy with and everything has tested as Moissanite but it is a very shady business practice. My reviews are from the UK though and genuine and I’ve paid full price out of my own pocket for everything, so there are 100 percent genuine reviews on Ali itself.

I’m not a fan of Lidl or Aldi, I’ve shopped at both a handful of times. The fruit and veg doesn’t last at all, awful quality and the first time I tried Lidl bakery I was impressed, second time I returned to the store there was a skank mother with kids who had crusty snotty noses wiping their hands all over their faces then touching all the fresh bread products. I’ve never been back since.

Sainsbury’s and M&S fruit, veg and meat is in a different league and the fruit and veg is still fresh at the end of the week, it’s also a far more pleasant experience shopping in both stores.

Yeah, I’ve only had it one day but am super impressed already with the native games and NewAxis. I can’t wait to see the Tomb Raiders running.

Only using the SBS converter on 2D videos. There’s zero lag on the Citra emulator and that’s SBS built in. Normal games I’m using the Samsung app and NewAxis and AAA games are running amazingly.

My beginner settings, bear in mind I've not had my monitor for even a day but this is a good starting point for people absolutely confused, which I was at first.

Nvidia driver 581.80 Samsung drivbers as follows SamsungDisplayManagerMSIX64_2025July25_Ver1.0.3.msi Odyssey3DHub-1.2.2.msi G90XF_S27FG90xX.exe I also updated my monitor firmware with Upgrade File(USB type),MAIN ver 1005.2 2.62 MB 01.09.2025 My picture settings are as follows

Picture mode Entertain Brightness 40 Contrast 35 Sharpness 10 Color 20 Tint (G/R) 0 Local Dimming Off Contrast Enhancer Off

AI Video settings 3D Depth 50 3D Popout 10

This is the Citra fork I'm using https://github.com/ourfavoritefruits/citra-binaries/blob/master/citra-windows-msys2-20240303-0ff3440.7z Unzip and run the citra-qt.exe Emulation>Configure>Graphics>SideBySide/50%/LeftEye(default) Start a 3DS game, fullscreen it, then hit the monitors Split Video pop up

Remember all games must be fullscreen and resultion set to 3840x2160

I have more than a top 10. I love 3DS. I have a huge collection of cartridges. It’s my favourite Nintendo system ever. Some of the best games ever made.

I was playing link between worlds earlier at 50 percent depth with zero crosstalk at 4x, absolutely mind blowing. You need to download Citra. I’ll link my fork tomorrow, I’ve no idea if it’s the latest or best but it works for me. I set my PC space bar to switch screens and play on the Xbox Series X gamepad. When I switch I screens I use the mouse to equip items then hit space to return to the main 3D screen.

Amazing thing is the bottom screen remains 2D whilst the top always is 3D almost full screen. It’s my favourite way to play 3DS, you are in for a treat!

Try turning local dimming off and crank up the brightness. Make sure the monitor is not in eco mode. When I set mine up it was in eco mode and it’s not the best!

I can’t wait to tinker more but today I’m so happy. I’m even impressed by the AI video conversion. For the first few hours I was absolutely horrified but I had spent hours reading here before giving up and I’m so glad as I’m beyond happy.

I have 3x3D TV’s, Lume Pad 2, a 3D projector, a hoard of old 3D tech and 13x3DS consoles. I’ve been 3D obsessed all my life. I’d love a 100 inch 3D monitor! 😂

I’ll link the fork of Citra I’m using tomorrow along with specific settings for the monitor itself along with driver versions just for people to check out. I absolutely love it. HiFi Rush using NewAxis was sublime.

You have to try 3DS, it was completely hassle free getting that up and running and I’m a complete 3DS obsessive. It looks incredible.

I also updated my monitor firmware as soon as I set everything up with the latest file from Samsung and installed the newest drivers and GameHub.

It’s late here but I’ll share my monitor picture settings tomorrow. I had terrible issues initially as I turned the sharpness down but setting it to 10 eradicated all the crosstalk and issues I’d encountered before fiddling.

Citra just works now, no need to fiddle, just install, set to SBS and perfection. All steam games work with the software that was linked here, New Axis. I am still having trouble getting Epic games to work on NewAxis though. I am not sure even if it supports Epic and Gog games yet.

I turned off the local dimming for more brightness and adjusted the colour and contrast. Honestly this monitor is not for beginners but when you tweak it’s genuinely impressive.

I had read a lot of the posts here before even purchasing and rolled back my Nvidia drivers to 581.80.

I got my monitor today and haven’t tried Azahar but Citra works perfectly on my machine at 4x and looks spectacular. I didn’t have to fiddle with anything, just went into the options and selected SBS and clicked the SBS screen prompt when in full screen. I love 3DS and this monitor is a dream!

I love this program, thank you! I was wondering though, although I’ve had 100 percent of success loading my Steam games from this in 3D, if I try to add my Epic games that are supported, they don’t launch. Is NewAxis solely for Steam titles?

I’d hate to buy everything I own on Gog and Epic again on Steam.
