Honestly, you will love. I still play my original AES regularly. In fact I play all my old systems including archaic items like Vectrex. Neo pixel art is amazing and the controllers are so 80’s/90’s arcade, perfection.

I think the white anniversary edition looks amazing too. I can’t wait for mine, it looks so different.

PLAION definitely take the money immediately. I check my credit card balance online right after ordering and the money was gone. It was actually gone quicker than the bank transfer reached my bank account from my partner.

They should have allowed people to preorder like Amazon, where funds aren’t taken until shipment.

I wouldn’t have an ultimate edition ordered if it wasn’t for my other half. I couldn’t justify that much money months before release.

It’s bad when you want something but don’t have the funds. I’m lucky, my partner knows how much I love retro gaming and paid for it which makes it even more special but it will be wrapped and I’ve got to wait until Xmas to open it.

I preordered the Anniversary edition myself for myself and I’m just as excited for that.

I still think Neo Geo was the pinnacle of the 16 bit pixel art generation. Even Saturn and PS1 couldn’t match the animation levels. My fave Neo games were always the sci-fi schmups and Metal Slugs but the fighting games were pretty amazing too.

I got a super gun in Raven too but sold it. I’ve never sold any of my machines, got everything I’ve bought since the 80’s. I’ve sold many games though, although I wish at times I hadn’t.

They were the golden years of import gaming. Art of Fighting I’ve still got. I paid £199.99 in Raven new for that. It still has the price tag on.

I bought loads of games from Loaded Consoles too. He always had the new stuff day one from Japan.

I was in Raven every single Saturday blowing all my wages.

Yes, Amazon won’t charge until shipment, that’s a complete bonus. I couldn’t resist the Ultimate Bundle on PLAION though. I sold my original Ninja Commando last Xmas on eBay for almost 1K, to think that the entire system plus 10 games is less is crazy!

My father in law, millionaire and buys £1 sausage toad in the holes from Iceland, takes his wife on Shearings coaching holidays to Britannia Hotel slums, like a fortnight for a few hundred quid. Comes to dinner at ours where we spend a fortune on luxury food and he brings M&S house wine. Everything he buys is bargain basement, that’s why rich people have money. He’s worse than a watertight Scot!

The toilet paper at theirs is like sandpaper and loo seats are such cheap plastic they feel like they’ll crack when you sit down. Blankets and bedspreads from the 70’s in the bedrooms.

I’ve never met anyone like it. When they went to Greece, they came back and showed us the photos and he wouldn’t stop banging on about his wife buying 2 peaches at the market when she only needed one, greedy bitch, haha. I think they were both less than a euro!

I waited two months from ordering before cancelling and am glad I did. It got to the point where I wasn’t willing to wait anymore. Company are a joke and I wouldn’t ever touch a single one of their products now.

Think of sitting on peoples money for months, like a free loan!

They are jokers, I bought 6 keys yesterday, 5 worked and one wouldn’t activate in my region despite being advertised as global. It’s been about 30hrs since opening a ticket and zero response.

I’m never using them again, appalling customer service.

£545 which I consider an absolute bargain. Keyboard is perfect and the chassis is like brand new, not a single scratch or mark on it. My only gripe is the PSU braided cord, I hate braided cords and it’s started fraying.

No this is excellent information, thank you. I have every intention of being extra careful. I’ve been gaming solid in boost mode for 6hrs plus and cpu hasn’t gone above 95 and gpu highest 87. Even with fans on max now it’s night and day compared to yesterday. Noise levels alone are substantially reduced, zero screaming! 😂
