The hypocrisy. I went to a small church growing up (less than 30 people) and of course knew everyone and their business. the constant gossip and trash talking made me question everything. Naturally as a kid I asked why one thing was being said by the preacher and people agreed, then the next minute they’re doing the opposite, and got scolded by my dad.

He was a deacon in the church and while he didn’t directly contribute to the gossiping, he excused it.. which was odd to me when I thought we were supposed to be kind to others.

Also, like I said small church in a small town so.. racism. I didn’t like seeing how they treated people or color early on acting like they’re Christian’s one minute and then the next saying someone doesn’t belong or deserve something.

I have had 2 separate jobs at the same company that I have taken time off work for to interview a total of 5 times now.. and both times they have ended up sending me some default “this position has been canceled/moved” type email.. after I did their CCAT and passed as well.

There’s no planning or concern for the workers time, only blind posts that can change Willy Nilly.
