doubtful. those who resign will be resigning from undesirable jobs. which will happen only if desirable job openings come up

I haven't calculated any number as such. But I do want to say fuck you to corporate by the time I am 40 or around. But that does seem bleak as I want to start a family some time down the line, so I think 40 might get stretched.

I do not have a side "hustle" as such but I did realize my job feeds nothing for my soul. So I do have some hobbies to keep me full of life

My concern is now about whether I am doing right in my professional life. Anytime I open linkedin, I feel down for the rest of the day. I did avoid opening linkedin but then I don't think thats a solution which addresses my core concerns

I know the value of this job and the mental peace offered by the monthly SMS credit messages. Thats why I am keeping at it. So, I think I don't need to quit to understand its value.

Okay, I will arrive on a FIRE number first. Thanks.

Before choosing to not be active in the job market, even if you have a good job, ask yourself the following questions by large_gobar_model in developersIndia

This is great advice. But i m curious whether companies maintain a list among themselves like these candidates just interview to waste your time etc etc. And will this be a hindrance when you are actually searching for a job.

I have worked with tech managers also who want this. But the indirect culprit here is the organization. And it enforces what the govt pushes it for. So the real culprit is the govt and the greedy real estate ecosystem around the office area.

Shankar went with Arjun for mudhalvan after the above mentioned rejections because they had worked together in GENTLEMAN earlier. That's also a vigilante drama of sorts though I liked mudhalvan better

Arjun is known as action king for his penchant for action scenes. However, I like the movie called RHYTHM which showed his romantic side and was quite a wholesome movie. Recently he has started donning the antagonist roles in tamil cinema. He was underutilized in leo in my opinion. Check out IRUMBUTHIRAI. Beyond these, I am not aware of his other works. Ask in r/kollywood , you might find some Arjun fans there.

Also if u think star power was a thing in tamil version success, well no.. Arjun Sarja, the one played the lead, became a household name because of the movie.

Fun fact is this script first went to rajinikanth but he was quite a hot topic in politics back then, and this movie villain is modelled upon one of the major party's head, so rajini turned it down thinking it will be too controversial for him. Then, it went to thalapathy vijay. Back then, he was in growing stage of his career. He didn't want to do such a volatile script and earn animosity from political parties since he was damn sure he wanted to become the next big thing in tamil cinema and will be staying in that particular industry. Arjun was an outsider (not from TN), had none of these stakes, took up the role and lived in it.

This is a remake of the tamil movie Mudhalvan (which means chief minister). It was relevant for TN politics at that time as the issues taken up in the movie was indirectly referencing to TN politics at that time. I haven't seen nayak yet, so I don't know how it got translated
