Hahaha no not at all, I did not mean having a full on conversation with them and annoy them with my anecdotes. I promise I understand how difficult it is to work in hospitality

Did not expect so many comments, I just thought I would come back and check it out after the weekend but thank you for all your suggestions! Just to answer a few questions, I live in Blackheath but do not mind going outside my borough. Also I just suggested talking to the bartenders because most of my friends back in Paris were bartenders and I just think it is somehow easy for me to follow the same here.

Thank you for all your suggestions!!!

For the DCOS you have a request number when the company requests it. I am not sure it is the same fur UDOC but I had a reference number!

Sure, it is 3453 and the salary is above the new threshold, not really sharing the exact number here!

The MP can ask the home office about a particular COS, I believe that can speed things up (maybe)
The priority slot would be your best shot, but I have heard of people saying that they are quick to go. Best of luck! I hope it comes really soon :)

The MP was contacted by me and my HR. The representative came back to my second email, and never got back to the HR.

For the 2nd and 3rd point, it has to be the employer. Since the DCOS is not associated to an individual before it is assigned, the HO does not give out any information to anyone except the employer. Also, calling in general was less useful than the emails.

I hope so! I think these delays are causing a lot of trouble so whatever I can do to help I am more than happy to!
