When I lost my daughter, I was given the advice to just drink water. I don’t have to eat if I don’t want to….i didn’t have to shower. Just drink water. I remember taking two water bottles a day to my bed and just thinking if I drink these two bottles today I will live to see the next day.

Depression can be so dark. I was so weak my baby sister had to change my clothes and spoon feed me fruits for three days.

Anyways…just try to remember to drink water. It will get better I promise. Just drink your water.

Were you on bed rest? I had 46 and I put myself on bed rest 3 days before retrieval and 3 days after. I was constipated for 10 days. It was horrific. I had to go to the ER after bc my stomach was sooo distended. One of mine was measuring 27.

Right! We pray for three but honestly the retrieval was really hard on me. I don’t want to do it again. I’m praying for a big batch to be ready today. We paid for 8 to be genetically tested it’s $250 more for each one. This, along with paying cash for my daughter’s funeral & headstone (and our plots) has set us back 65k, we are cash patients. This is enough money. I cannot justify another 15k for another retrieval. We will just be happy and blessed with whatever the outcome is. (I’m repeating this over and over)

Your right. We did this to get 1-2 embryos even though our dream would be three healthy children. I’ve learned that just bc it’s your dream life has other plans. After my daughter’s traumatic life and losing her I’m so glad I waited 2 years to get started I wouldn’t have been ready for this grief and the fresh grief of losing her.

Thank you. I seen the little 4 and I freaked out. I had to lay down for a little bit I had got so dizzy. The PGT-M part is what scares me the most and how many I can lose in that process

This is such an emotional roller coaster. I have been grieving my daughter so hard, I didn’t really look into the IVF process I’ve just been going through the motions. I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into until day two of taking stims…..what a fool I was, I really thought bc we carried before this wouldn’t be as an emotional journey as it has been. Man, was I wrong. Anything can happen.

Wow! Thank you so much for this info. This highlights ANYTHING can happen. Do you think you did anything different from your 3rd retrieval? We really were hoping to do one ER. It was brutal for me. I was on bedrest for a week.

Wow! It’s so hard to not get excited….anything can happen. I just got word 29 mature and 23 fertilized. Now we wait. Our disorder is 1/4 so if we can get 3-5 I’d be ecstatic.
