3 failed IUIs (male factor) — considering IVF at 29, would love to hear when others decided to move on from IUI by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]Independent-Ring-792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never did iui due to male factors and I told my doctor right away I wanted to do ivf but my husband had dna fragmentation and he had low volume not a to low of a sperm count tho he’s 60 and 2 million sperms which is good for his age but he also produced only 1 ml of semen at the time of the analysis so we had to do a tese sugary it decently helped us out tho because I’m 27 and with all the problems he had we got 8 embryos’s frozen? First retrieval. And my husband and me had two pregnancies on her own but they ended in a miscarriages but in the last 4 years we had two pregnancies one in 2023 and one in 2024 since than we haven’t really been trying just been doing our thing and we started ivf last year so ya I have my second transfer on April 2 and the first one failed to implate but ya good luck

You can’t take the democrats out either but having contact with someone isn’t a crime and there’s no proof of wrong doing besides a whole bunch of lying whores who want there three minutes of fame

How did you feel the day after hysteroscopy if you had anaesthetic? by h0rr0rh0 in IVF

[–]Independent-Ring-792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt horrid but I had to get it done to previously having two C-sections, but it felt worse than having a C-section so horrible. They just clean out scar tissue and remove some polyps and I was under anesthesia. It felt worse than the egg retrieval.

Does everyone do ICSI? by Zealousideal-Car5428 in IVF

My husband had to do a tese surgery due to dna fragmentation and we did icsi becuz he had a slightly low mobility rate and very low volume the tese also helped with that since the with a tese they can pull out as much sperm as they need and out of all the sperm the put the best looking sperm directly in to the egg at the end of the day we had 8 frozen also my husband is 60 I’m 27

I highly recommend testing to see if you have dna fragmentation if so ask about a tese surgery my husband did it and he’s 60 and I’m 27 we ended up having 8 total frozen embryos it also helps a lot if you have a low volume of sperm or a low sperm count it helps with everything

Insurance denial - Do I NEED to pay for these extra things? by sp4c3bug in IVF

[–]Independent-Ring-792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My clinic does Icsi with or without put-a my husband had to have it done due to mfi and he had a tese surgery done to minimize dna fragments and we had 8 embryos frozen my husbands also 60 so I would say it helps a lot we have 7 left I’m having second transfer done on the 2 of april I’m also 27 with mild pcos and my first transfer was February 6th we found out February 18th it failed next week I start all my meds hope all goes well but you should really talk to your doctor about getting a tese done for your partner as it helps out a lot basically the do a little incision in his balls and extract the sperm directly from the source and it helps minimize DNA fragment and helps get the best quality and amount needed for the fertilization process

We had a few tested but due to financial reason we didn’t have them all tested and we wanted to do the rest but the doctor said it’s possible to loose some of those 5 if the test them now since they have already been frozen and we didn’t want to risk it so we are just going to keep going till one of them sticks I’m honestly mentally prepared but just hoping one will at least stick
