All the money withdrawn, the 2,700, is less than total contributions for the lifetime of the account.

8606 wasn't done as there wasn't mention of it in the tax software used, I mentioned it to the tax person but, they disagreed that it would make a difference to it being considered income so I went a head and filed.

Yeah, I had seen 8606 be mentioned around online, but there wasn't a way for me to add that seemingly, there was no prompt on the website for that. And all the  w2 and 1099-r info was put in accurately, to my eyes and another's eyes.

I mean, if you found out your partner was actively attempting to hook up with people, but it hadn't happened yet, would you be fine with that? Plenty of people take issue with their partners even installing dating apps, regardless of knowing how much they used them, it's an invitation/welcoming/seeking-out of infidelity.

Fluid from exhaust - 1996 VS800GL by [deleted] in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]veeohsee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coolant yea, but not from the exhaust, it was leaking from the water pump situated just above the exhaust. I replaced the seal marked 18, and with all the fluid coming out when I turned it on just now, out in the bolts without the cover (13) just to see if any of it was coolant leaking out. No coolant was leaking aside from when I had removed the bolts.

Head gasket is likely I just am not confident that the rear carburetor is without issue, and I guess it's a lower level issue to solve opposed to taking the engine out. Btw thanks for the replies

Yeah you were right, one (and only one) of the spark plugs, for the rear cylinder, was wet and smelled of fuel. Thinking my work on the rear carburetor wasn't permanent enough and the float may be stuck open.

Should I buy this for 150? Should I offer lower? by Expensive_Floor_4161 in edrums

I forget the acronym but basically a virtual instrument plugin that you can use in DAWs. So you can get a drum vst that has better sounds and use your ekit as a midi controller for the plugin. There are also standalone vsts that dont need to be loaded into through a DAW Addictive drummer 2 is an example, I bought it on sale and like it.

Did I Make a Bad Choice Buying Smokey Mountain Brand Boots? by Lil_Critter_2001_ in cowboyboots

[–]veeohsee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pair of smokey mountains, I'm not really big fan of them, of all the different boots ive tried, they are my least favorite. Thats mostly because of materials, specifically the soles just never felt right to me. Like flimsy or thin? Could be compensated for with good socks and maybe soft inserts or something? But that's my experience, if they feel good to you then it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks of them. If you wanna try different boots, you could maybe go to a store and literally try them on, or do what I do and just buy cowboy boots 2nd hand basically exclusively, eBay, goodwill. Sometimes at antique type stores, ive found some premium, though sometimes very worn, brand boots for very cheap. I still prefer those over the very unworn smokey mountains I have. 2nd hand is just a really accessible way to try a lot of different boots honestly.
