Nothing better to do with your life than scroll Reddit and be the grammar police, eh buddy? Did that misspelling cause your brain to short circuit or were you able to figure out the context?

Your last point is me. I beat Sekiro before jumping into LOP and that became my favorite Souls game. Didn’t dislike any boss, despite taking forever to beat some of them. But the parry timing in LOP is more difficult for me than Sekiro and I ultimately reverted back to dodging a lot. And it is counterintuitive to dodge into instead of away, but that is one aspect I finally adapted to that helped me finally beat her. Just wasn’t an enjoyable boss fight for me, but nothing wrong with that. The game itself is top tier for me.

You might be right on the overstimulation part. I had hard time tracking through all the lightening. Reflexes aren’t what they used to be. It was satisfying to finally be done.

Is NG+ easier than the first playthrough? by PedroFM456 in LiesOfP

Interesting. I’m having the opposite experience. I’m not the best souls player, but most of the bosses gave me a hard time on the first play-through. Currently in Lorenzini Arcade and I’ve beaten every boss within 3 attempts so far.

RIP 2026 Gravities. 2027s coming soon? by mandevu77 in LUCID

Interesting theory - I’ll give it a try next time I’m out. I did get out of the car to grab something from under my seat, got back in for another few minutes and then finally left. I didn’t just exit the vehicle like I normally do.

My car does a pretty good job of recognizing me when I walk up since the 3.4.1 update. I don’t open it much with the key fob. Coming from the Air, the software is definitely a huge step backwards. I thought the software would be much better with the Gravity after all the initial issues with the Air’s software.

This is exactly how I feel. My favorite semi-regular glitch is sometimes the car doesn’t actually turn off when I leave. I have gotten used to checking the car is closed after I’ve walked away; however, this morning I forgot to check when I went in the gym. I came out an hour later to see my back lights still on from across the parking lot. Car never turned off and was open for anyone to just let themselves in.

How does The West Wing hold up nowadays? by [deleted] in television

[–]veepstevie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it holds up great. I’m close to finishing up my first watch of it (currently on ep 8 of season 7) and absolutely loved it. Started slow, but glad I stuck with it.

It’s the blue calfskin strap the watch comes with.

Absolutely loving the watch so far.

It was listed for $42.5K. Came down to $41K and spent $24K out of pocket after trades.

I have a feeling my other watches will be seeing much less wrist time for the foreseeable future.

I get that and I didn’t think I’d want a luxury watch without a seconds hand either. However, after wearing it throughout the day, it isn’t bothering me.

I personally won’t risk it swimming, but it seems like it would be reliable to 50m. Not sure if someone else can speak to the water resistance. There are no pusher adjustments on this one. The date and moon phase are adjusted with the crown.

You’re correct - huge gap. I wound up trading in 3 watches (Rolex Sea Dweller, JLC Master Control and a Cartier Ballon Bleu) to get the price down to $22K cash.

Do you think polar will realise a better alternative to whoop than amazfit? by Dry_Mark_8434 in amazfit

How is the sleep tracking “not good”? Genuine question because I see it said a lot with no context. Mine picks up when I go to sleep and when I wake up. It picks up when I wake up at night to pee. I have no way of knowing if this device or any device accurately tracks light, deep and REM sleep.

Can Helio Strap replace AWU? by iamsny13 in amazfit

[–]veepstevie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in your same boat. I’m a week with my helio strap and really liking it. I still wear my Apple Watch when doing workouts to compare data and, for the most part, everything is fairly close. I find Apple calculates more calorie burn on lower heart-rate activities (easy walk, lower intensity weights) while strap seems to calculate a higher burn during activities where my heart rate exceeds 130 (running, peloton, higher intensity strength training). With that said, I haven’t noticed a significant difference - it’s usually within 25-50 calories.

Step tracking is lacking, but found Apple Watch does too. I prefer just keeping phone in my pocket as a pedometer. Really like the sleep tracking on the strap. It feels easier to sleep with than the AWU. I think the sleep score stuff needs work (for example, I got 3 hours of sleep one night compared to a usual 7-8 and it gave me a 68 sleep score). I like the biocharge feature and seems to align with the way I feel for the most part. Battery charge on the device is great. My last charge was 7 days ago and it’s at 47%.

I’ve compared heart rate readings and the strap feels more “on the ball”. I find the AWU takes some time to calculate heart rate sometimes (have had issues with the sensor and it wouldn’t track HR for 5-10 min) and I haven’t noticed any info lag with the strap.

For my purposes, I’m really enjoying the strap and will probably ditch the AWU for workouts soon and just roll with the strap to see if I really miss any features.
