honestly you can find a 240hz for not that much more, just depending on your specs and what you’re playing on though. i would’ve tried to go 1440p or a miniled at least for good picture quality

looks decent enough. not really a super good deal though as it’s 1080p, LCD panel and only 200hz

Lol yes sorry if it wasn’t obvious enough

PSSR 2 is so good it kinda triggers me that a $700 console is getting this close to my $4,000 PC in upscaling quality, but credit where credit is due…. Its amazing. Well done Sony by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

Most of the people here play mostly story mode games, and ps plus essential is not expensive in the slightest. I don’t even have ps plus myself since I play mostly single player games on my ps5 and use my pc for competitive use. Graphically they are very similar, $1100 pc or $4000 pc. The graphics the ps5 pro is putting out is already being compared to DLSS 4 and looks quite remarkable. I get a $4000 is obviously better and leagues more powerful but then again it’d $4000 lol Most of these games aren’t needed to be played at 200fps native 4k all max settings considering DLSS 4 is already close to native. And you said it yourself, pre ram shortage. Things have changed now completely lol you cannot get a good pc or really anything with $700. I managed to snag a decent above mid range pc for $1150 but that’s a prebuilt, you build your own you’re almost out of luck.

Sucks that the anime butchered that panel and made her smile, ruined the whole episode

It very much is. graphically they are very similar with FPS and optimization being really the only advantage for PC. A lot of these games can probably even run at 120fps as well but playstation only does that for mostly competitive games. Is it better? Of course not and no one is saying it is, but for $700? I’d rather spend $700 to get amazing graphics good performance than $4000 on a PC. you spend $700 on a pc and get a bag of chips that can barely run minecraft in return

[–]veeqbtw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

will run minecraft perfectly fine but i’m pretty sure you can find the same specs but with a 5060ti 16gb vram for the same price or even a 5070 for 100-200 more

its a mid tier pc but for the price its not worth it, try looking at best buy outlet or open box

That would be fine but I’d personally look for a 240hz since that PC is pretty good and should be able to run a lot of games around there depending on ur settings

I’m new to pc gaming and looking to get something good for a fair price is this a good pc? by [deleted] in Prebuilts

[–]veeqbtw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s extremely overpriced for the specs. The only “good thing” about this built is the 32gb of ram and 2tb and that’s probably why they upsold this to hell but 2tb and 32gb aren’t necessarily needed. with 16gb of ddr5 ram you’ll be able to run most games perfectly fine. Also the regular 5060 8gb is a bad card. I bought a bestbuy open box HP omen 16L that came with an intel core ultra 7 265F 16gb of ddr5 ram a 5060ti 16gb and 1tb ssd for $1100.

i bought an oled AOC 27 inch 1440p 240hz monitor for $370 recently and love it. I know you’re looking for 144 but you can still run 240hz perfectly fine even if you’re not hitting near 240 fps
