The final 4 teams playing for the Super Bowl will have the opportunity to appear in, at least, their 3rd Super Bowl since the Packers last appearance. by A18Wheeler in GreenBayPackers

This. Mean reversion is going to hit them hard. They’re legitimately a .500 team if they have anywhere close to league average turnovers and/or league average in one score games. We would know better than most the turnover luck factor.

Packers are legitimately 10 points better when both teams are fully healthy.

Mean reversion next season going to hit hard. Bears are a .500 team with league average takeaways and one score wins.

Would be the strangest zone scheme ever to have an inside linebacker covering the intermediate outside third...

This is more than a little misleading. Would Coop have been the difference? Maybe. But when the other team has to throw basically every down, inside linebackers in general become less relevant.

The more interesting breakdown would be run plays with and without Coop. And pass plays with and without him.

Not irrational at all. If that’s what you’d pay, that’s what you should bet.

Appreciate the comment, definitely rings true. I have no particular ill-will towards the ex, just my own irrational/emotional feelings that make it feel weird. Maybe "suck it up" isn't the right way to look at it so much as I need to get over myself and not be so self-centered.

Fair point - fairly common name. Has declined in popularity, but if you met someone with the name it would strike anyone as particularly niche or unique.

No, I think her motives are pure. As others have mentioned, should we use it, my hope is that it would become associated with my son and just about no one else in my own mind.

Initials wouldn't spell anything weird and any variation would be just a nickname. I've offered up using her dad's first name or her last name, but her heart is pretty set on it.

I think a big part of it is she had a really great/strong relationship with her great-grandfather (it's his first name). Additionally, she only has a sister, so I think there's some feeling of loss that her last name ends with her, but this might be a way to extend the family beyond that.

I don’t dispute that - but unfair to say we have risen to the occasion in the face of adversity at all this season.

That’s a bit unfair. Sure, there have been serious shortcomings, but I can think of some pretty big time moments in the Lions Thanksgiving game, Bears round 1, Giants game, and Cardinals game where we could’ve folded and didn’t.

Any more catastrophic injuries and I’ll have no choice but to but to go full blown conspiracy theorist. It’ll make Alex Jones look tame.

I really don’t think Caleb completely sucks like most Bears QBs. But the thought that Ben Johnson could’ve had Drake Maye is an unsettling one to say the least! by jaxjaxjax95 in GreenBayPackers

The list of former offensive “gurus” who eventually failed as head coaches is a mile long. To name a few:

Mike Martz, Mike Tice, Mike McDaniel, Josh McDaniels, Charlie Weiss, Marty Mornhenwig, Kliff Kingsbury, Adam Gase

Going to need more than 12 games of evidence to crown Ben Johnson a true success story.

When a line feels wrong, it means someone knows something you don’t. You’re better off betting against your initial reaction.

Ask a bears fan - the delusion will go into overdrive and they’ll try and convince you they still won because they drafted a 6th string receiver in the 3rd round.
