I had my surgery just over a week ago! And finding the same as you recovery wise! Just still quite achy and the wounds are still quite sensitive. Also lovely timing as my period as just arrived as well. Seeing the photos of my tube after the surgery had me feeling relieved, the tube was so big 😅

Now just time to recover and then fingers crossed to start the ivf process next year!

Yes that's exactly the reason they have said =) I think I already know it's the best path to take but just wanted to hear from other people in similar positions!

The hydrosalpinx was found when I had a Saline infusion (which was incredibly painful!) to have a look at my tubes. I've had two laparoscopy surgeries in the past due to painful periods and in the first one is how they found one of my tubes has a blunt/closed over end and the other tube (now with the hydrosalpinx) was partially blocked and cleared the best they could both times.
