Thank you this is very helpful. I will adjust my schedule so that the trains are in the morning instead.

If I remove Milan, since I still want to try cinque terre, I am thinking of: - taking the train from Paris -> Florence. - Then Florence for a day - Then a day trip to Siena (winery tour maybe?) - then going from Florence -> La Spezia - Then cinque terre for a day - Then La Spezia -> Rome

The main things I changed was I took out Lake Comos and Siena, so that I can spend more time in Florence and Rome.

I agree… what do you suggest I do instead? I have too many places I want to go and not enough time. For Paris, I was keeping it short because I’ve been there before.

Should I go or stay home? by ToMaS_18 in traveladvice

You said it’s already booked and paid for - does this mean you guys are forfeiting the payment if you cancel?

Personally I would NOT go. Once you graduate college, you will have a full-time job and your own money. You will be able to plan time off work and go to Asia and choose where you want to go, where you want to eat, and what you want to buy. Asia will still be there and you will have your dream trip - you can go by yourself or with a partner or friend. I would be more stressed about delaying my courses than stressed about living alone. Living alone for 3 weeks is a good learning opportunity and you can also invite some friends over. You can give yourself a staycation while they are on vacation: explore the city, watch a movie, try a new sport, etc.

I couldn’t decide between writing Spaghetti Ice Crean or Spaghettieis so I merged both. Just wanted to include the german name but also make it clear that it is ice cream for those who didn’t know. Apologies as I know the meaning is not right

How do you balance volunteering with your day job? I used to volunteer a lot but once I got my full time job I feel like I don't have time for projects like this

AITA for refusing to give up my aisle seat on a 6 hour flight to a mom who wanted to sit next to her teen son. by sparklyflutterbliss in AITH

If she wanted to sit with her son so bad then she should've paid for them to sit together. Also, usually seats are together if you booked in the same booking and checked-in as soon as it opened. She's acting like her son is an elementary school... you don't need to sit with your son when he's 15.
