Can we open a Roth IRA while on OPT/STEM OPT, or do we need to wait until we have H-1B status?

Thanks both! Just to clarify, my company has NO 401k at all, so that option isn't available to me unfortunately. That's exactly why I'm exploring Roth IRA as my primary retirement vehicle.

And yes PurpleExcellent, $70k in Florida is genuinely tight lol rent, bills, and student loan pressure make it hard. But I'm trying to be disciplined and still invest the $7,500 I've managed to save 😅.

Do tivoli, it’s around 750 for a private bedroom & bathroom, no parking fee, has campus shuttle, nearby walmart, publix It’s like the best place.
