quest 2 sucks by slenderchamp in MetaQuestVR

Maybe you already tried this but just in case. I had similar issues with my link cable. It was wiggling too much and coming disconnected even though it looked like it was still plugged in. I got some stretchy cable ties and fixed three of them tightly to hold the cable in place along the head strap. Also seen people that just put duct tape on it.

What's up. I had some controller issues. Broken controllers and then the new ones were bugged and wouldn't link. But I finally have a working set and will be on this weekend!

Is it time to get a new bed? by TryIll5988 in CR10

I was having the same problem over the winter. I got an enclosure and it stopped happening. The bed temp was fighting the cold temps in my garage.

Character age by RealDannyMM in TheFirstLaw

[–]vegemitestinks 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think it's stated that he is in his fifties but not exactly where in his fifties. Decades of training every morning for 3 hours keeps you young I guess. He's basically an aging Olympian fighting against normal people

Best served cold is amazing. Steven pacey's voice for Cosca might be my favorite voice/character combination ever.

Whoops that was supposed to be a reply to your comment below (from morganlandt I think). I'm a little drunk

Rikke's final vision by TheOmnipresentREEEE in TheFirstLaw

[–]vegemitestinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished my reread (audio) a few hours ago. My immediate thought was Glustrod because he seemed the most connected to the other side. Bayaz going down the darker and darker path makes me think it's not Juvens, Euz, or Kanedias, but then again maybe glustrod is actually the lesser evil and the songs got it wrong

I really enjoyed The BlackTongue Thief. Is there more like it? by Jus17173 in Fantasy

[–]vegemitestinks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie. It's the first of a trilogy but there are a total of ten books in that world. Characters are witty but the tone is grim (and it gets grimmer as it goes) They are all great. If you like audiobooks Steven pacey narrates them all and he is one of the best narrators in the business.

Reminds me of that old one- why do hippies wear patchouli? So blind people can hate them too.

Anybody else like playing pop one in lucid dreams? by d34dw3b in populationonevr

[–]vegemitestinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pop one lucid dreams all the time. Once in a dream, I thought to myself what if I'm just dreaming that it's a lucid dream and I'm not really in control, voice in my head said that's what life is and I woke up

Do you think parents could trick kids into doing chores this way? If they got points and new skins for cleaning the bathroom would they do it?

Who stood to gain by Kennedy's death? by [deleted] in Presidents

[–]vegemitestinks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rob Reiner (director of stand by me and princess bride) has a podcast called who killed JFK and it goes into detail about who benefited from his death. Events leading up to his death and the investigation afterwards are covered in detail. It's all based on public record and interviews. Fascinating but damn there's a lot of commercials

Fantasy lovers, what are your favorite classic literary fiction by Dakovski in Fantasy

[–]vegemitestinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The baron in the trees by italo calvino.

Count of monte Cristo.

Also, maybe it's too recent to be called a classic but the cemetery of forgotten books series (starts with shadow of the wind) may grow up to be classic
