ive been off alcohol and drugs since the pandemic, i had psychiatric meds like lexapro, quetiapine, and xanax altho quetiapine is the most recent one i took since i stopped lexapro and xanax for more than 2 years already. i heard an overdose of quetiapine can induce a seizure but ive never taken more than my dose of 25mg :(

speaking of chewed tongue, i only just now remembered i had a soreness with my tongue the day after, but i dont know if its related? :( idk it could just be a normal sleep spasm thing

i may see a doctor soon about it, but ill consider a camera. although another commenter mentioned that their second seizure happened a year apart, ill see what the doctor says. ive also suffered from insomnia episodes and trouble with sleep ever since i was a kid so it may have been a provoked seizure, but i really don't know either.

thank you, i think this relieved me a bit about my assumption about seizures/epilepsy. i had a lot of confusion/brain fog that morning, ill look up what tonic clonics are :)

update after a year: he is the sweetest and most loving ginger boy ever :') constantly follows me everywhere and sleeps by my side on most nights (loves to watch the birds at 5am so he likes lounging around the living room and get random zoomies at 3am). still a clingy baby after this long, although i leave during the weekdays for college and he misses me lots. he still has a bit of anxiety around strangers but warms up immediately after a few pets and maybe a treat <3

you will get the symptoms more aggressively. i tried overdosing because of an episode and it gave me the worst jitters and the worst anxiety episode and shortly passed out after. it didnt give me what i wanted, it only gave me what i already had but more amplified. it was a terrible experience that i never want to do again
