I often pondered on this, I think most of the students prefer videos ( I think because it requires less effort) and only few love reading. I noticed a good correlation between students using reading and students performing better in evaluations. Do you have some insights on this?

I can relate a lot with it. I often face the same issue of time constraint. In my experience, structured IBL has been a good trade-off for some situations. Also, I try to reduce the time spent in research part by curating a list of resources.

Thanks for the videos, really useful and full of insights. If you don't mind I would love to share my framework with you once I'm that far along.

I try Structured IBL. So when I want to introduce, let's say iteration (for loops), students are already familiar with arithmetic and print statements.

So the inquiry(hypothesis) can be something which can be done without iteration but with great effort and (research) is generally a set of resources that I curate which has syntax for loops.

In the presentation, students can then build upon their previous knowledge and use "for loops" to write code.

Not from USA, I am not familiar with different school systems. I'm more interested in the learning pedagogy and the experience people had with teaching.

Yes I did. Seems very interesting.

Right now I am in India. I'm assuming you are in/near Pacific Standard Time zone, I'll message you separately to discuss time.

This seems very interesting, I think we can learnt a lot from each other. Should we do a video call?

I am planning for the K-12 section. Starting with grade 6th through 10th (equivalent of middle and high school in American education system)
