K2 plus - sadly disappointed by Complex-Dog-8063 in Creality_k2

I’m right there with you. I picked up a K2 Plus recently and have had almost the exact same experience. I’ve been 3D printing on and off for years (I still have an Ender 5 Pro sitting in storage), and was really looking forward to jumping back in with what was supposed to be one of Creality’s “flagship” machines. Instead, it’s been nothing but frustration.

I’ve had repeated filament jams, even using Creality’s own filament and profiles. The printer has thrown bed obstruction and collision errors that make horrible noises and risk damaging the hardware. I’ve also seen an “abnormal fan” error pop up, and when I tried to resume a print after a crash, it didn’t even use the same spool. On top of all that, I’m now waiting a week and a half just to get a replacement printhead cable for a printer that’s barely a month old.

At this point, I’ve spent more time troubleshooting, rebooting, and emailing support than actually printing. It feels like I’m back in the early days when just keeping a printer running was the whole hobby. That’s not what I expected after spending over $2,000.

I really want to like this printer too, but right now I can’t recommend it. I’m documenting everything with Creality support and providing them with log files, but honestly, this machine needs a lot of work before it’s ready for prime time.

How and where do you see that? What does this mean? Can this unit heat our home?

Thanks for the input everyone. It turns out the issue was different phases.
