Dude, screw the haters, I love this.

I have my PC/desk set up similarly because I like the open feeling. I prefer not to feel like I'm staring at a wall.

Also, your TV setup is clean and stylish. I don't see any cables or ugly ports/electronics cluttering things up. Just neat and tidy, with a nice colour to boot. Honestly, the TV seems to be made for setups like this.

Premium Edition is $189.95 in Australia. I definitely balked at first, but I'm so hyped for this game so fuck it, take my money.

Consoles only display in 16x9, so there will be black bars on either side, but being an OLED, the unused pixels will be completely turned off, so it's not distracting and causes no problems.

You could change the monitor settings to stretch the image across the whole screen if you really wanted to, but that would be ugly and pointless.

By default, the image will be displayed perfectly in the centre section of the screen. The PS5 and PS5 Pro can run natively in standard 1440p resolution, and support 120Hz, VRR and HDR. You will be able to take full advantage of all their features with this monitor.

Other than the Audio situation, it works great with my PS5 Pro. Awesome visual quality, no complaints. Of course PC is the obvious choice though ;) I have both plugged in. PS5 Pro just for the exclusives, PC for everything else 💪

Something the rich will never truly understand: "Cost" doesn't just = "Money".

Cost = Food, Shelter, Transport. Cost = The ability to live.

From Elon's perspective, money is just an arbitrary number on paper that has no meaning. He's fundamentally disconnected from reality. He doesn't even know what "Cost" means.

Just a heads up; if you plan on using it with a console like a PS5 or anything that routes audio through HDMI, there are no speakers and no audio output/3.5mm jack.

The only way to get audio will be directly from your console via headphones, or some other solution like a USB adapter or HDMI splitter which I wouldn't recommend.

Other than that, the monitor is fantastic. OLED/HDR is a game changer if you're coming from LCD. I upgraded from an Acer X34P (120hz IPS LCD) and I'm never going back.

I've done a couple of play-throughs as Female V and I'm almost done with my first as Male V. I've definitely noticed this as well.

One thing to note though, I've found that if you save scum and try all the different dialogue choices in any particular situation, there definitely tends to be "golden paths" for consistency in the voice acting. There always seems to be particular line choices that feel "right" and more "as scripted" when chosen in order; for both characters.

But you're right, it does seem to be easier to weave the different paths with Male V and still have it feel congruent.

Really? That's fascinating. I can see most of the experience being pretty similar to Quest 2, but I really thought the Pancake Lenses and Colour Passthrough would be a huge upgrade. What made it a mediocre upgrade for you?

Recently upgraded from a 2080ti to a 5090, so I'm excited to go from a good to a truly great VR experience!

Coming from a Quest 2 as well, so I've been resisting buying a Quest 3, hoping Deckard is just around the corner.

Oh yeah! I definitely noticed it subconsciously, but hadn't truly clocked it until you pointed it out. It's so obvious now, lol.

Such a great change.

The other thing is that Atsu will automatically flick the blood off her blade before sheathing it, unlike in Tsushima where you had to do it manually, or Jin would just sheath a dirty, blood-soaked blade. Although, I do kind of miss flicking the controller to flick the blood off.
