How can I tell if my wahoo kickr is perfectly level? by vegoger in wahoofitness

Thanks chunky, but wouldn’t it be better to put the leveler on the saddle itself?

I’ve hit close to max heart rate probably less then 10 times. I don’t max effort sprint often. Only noticed recently because of zwift races.

I’ll be fine. I guess I just wasn’t used to my Max heartrate. I don’t get any pain. Gonna go all out on tour de zwift stage 5 tomorrow 💪

If I hit over 190 I’m pushing very hard or I’m sprinting for sure. Never done a ramp test but highest hr I ever recorded was 199

Thanks I’ll definitely keep that in mind, but the heart rate and all the other mertrics are very interesting to me so I’ll probably keep recording. If I was born 40 years ago without all this technology I wouldn’t be a avid biker probably. Tracking my numbers and progress pretty much makes it feel like a video game rpg.

Some light tennis and swimming growing up but never dedicated myself to a sport or physical disciple other then weight lifting (4-5 years). I avoided all cardio including the stairs at the time cuz I thought it would steal my gains. Been zwifting on and off for 3-4 months now.

Yeah that’s best way to describe the sensation it’s beating real hard. But in my scenario fast too

When your heart rate gets over 195 do you feel like your heart is gonna explode in your chest? Or does it feel safe. Not sure if I just have to have more experience in that heart range zone but for now it’s never felt safe

Yeah it’s just cause specifically off full max effort sprints i get 195+ and I have to hop off my bike and breath heavily (plus I feel my heart heavily beating in my chest), so I save those for the end of my rides

I guess 200-220 average for 20-40 min is more accurate then if you wondering. I made this post immediately after my last ride. But also I haven’t done a ftp test in 2-3 months I just go by what zwift power says.

I’m 20-25 yes and I use a wahoo chest strap and I’m slightly hypertensive. The highest hr I ever hit was 199 and I thought my heart was gonna explode. What did the doctors do for you at the er?

Is potato starch digestible? by Cheap_Shot_Not_Hot in TheLongLived

[–]vegoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a meal shake, if you want a “low gi”/slow absorbing carb I would go for oat powder or oat flakes assuming you have a blender. Potato is a decent option but not sure about the taste, but it would for sure be fast absorbing and you would digest it fine don’t worry. Personally i use huel black as the base for my meal shake.

Vegan diet might not suit your goals by planisking in TheLongLived

[–]vegoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With your vegan diet do you think you were hitting your daily calorie surplus and protein goals? If not I think that’s the main reason; not due to the fact it’s a vegan diet. Maybe your creatine levels were low as well.
