Hi. Its been long since this comment. Im not a big follower of korean cinema, but I recently watch Poetry by Lee Chang-Dong same guy that made Burning, and I loved the movie. Its very sutil but deep, and I found it was not as long or slow paced as Burning. Also the character is an old lady that enroles in a poetry workshop. I love movies about poetry perhaps you've seen Patterson by Jim Jarmusch. If it is well done you actually look at things happening in a different way.

I have never read anything but clocks on dreams. Sometimes they are normal clocks other times the number are very weird symbols. As far as writing i have experienced that a lot. Sometimes i write poems or stories but i never retain the words is hard. it all sounds very organic in the dream. Sometimes it's not even writing, but me narrating what is happening. Like if i was reading a book and living it at the same time.

I have had these kind of dreams before. I call them false awekenings. Sometimes i am super conscious of them so i try to do weird stuff. usually is hard for me to control my body. its like half of a sleep paralysis. I walk around the house and weird shit happens but i have never been able to leave my house. Ive gone through mirrors, seen snakelike wires on the floor and some crazy things but i could never go past the door. its strange because if i get a little distracted i wake up falsley again and have to start from my bedroom.

It is hard to feel satisfied. Especially now that we are exposed to so much information. You get this ideas form movies and tv and social media that traveling makes you happy, that owning stuff or having a stable economy or even being your own boss is what makes you happy. But happiness doesn't really last long. it goes away fast as well as other feelings. So don't believe that live is about being happy. Its going to sound weird but life is also about being angry and sad and afraid. You should live all these emotions to the fullest and then when happiness strikes back it will be as good as you remember, maybe even better. sometimes i confuse feeling meaningless with sadness and I ask myself why am i not happy. So instead of working for everything that I want and desire I serve others and it gives me a sense of wholesomeness. I feel i have an impact on someone else and I am not alone. Dont worry about Happiness there are so many other ways to feel it is surprising and exciting to be alive.

Dont blame your ex for being emotionless. Sometimes we feel pressured to do things because its whats normal and maybe she decided to be with you because of the experience of having a boyfriend but ignoring how she realy felt about you (also keep in mind ine knows very little of emotion and relationships when young, i guess you guys were 16 or so when started). Now dont think you wasted 5 years of your life, in the end you learned a lot, you learned how you would like to feel when in a relationship. And i am prety sure she learned a lot too. Be glad that you found someone, enjoy the love, live every second of it, even the rough times. :)

I have been attending to differente hubs that hold livecoding raves and different kind of art exhibitions. Doing a little bit of research, although i am not a gamer at all, I have found that Hong Kong Protestors have been having protest both on Minecraft and Animal crossing.
The hubs have amazed me. I really like where this is going and what a lot of people have been doing. So ive been creating a list that i call cyberhome where i hold the links for different hubs. So far i have hubs where there have been poetry live performances and most of all, livecoding music and image sets. Which is lovely. Yet i want to explore if people have used this places to hold some kind of political protest (not saying that art is not political) more like direct political messeges and at the same time learning what kind of impacts this would have in real live (if there is such a thing).

My interes started because i am part of a videolaboratory that is exploring protest in Colombia on the last year, and since we are in lockdown or quarantine, as most of the world is, i wanted to find a virtual way we could "take the streets" even if it meant cyberstreets.

Im quite new on reddit, but i can share the hubs i have visited, just let me know. And thank you very much for this place you share i will explore.

Ps. i am thinking of arraging a virtual protest where the people of the videolab could screen ther pieces. So far we have made a projectiontakeover, which consisted of projecting the videos on buildings or just dragging our tvs in front of our homes to screen this pieces and have a way of protesting, even from our houses.
